    When was it?
    And what was the victory that put them in that position?

    How about we break it into guys born here and guys who weren't, that way we can separate guys like Tszyu from the others :good

    Fenech was ranked 5th I believe in 1988.

    Ahead of guys like Nelson, Nunn and Jung Koo Chang from memory.

    I think the highest Kostya got was 4..not sure what year. Probably after he stopped Judah.

    Thats all I can remember.

    From memory, Fenech got to #3 in the Rings list and I think Kostya made #5, maybe even #3 also. At work so can't confirm.

    I think Vic got to about 12 after the Mijares win the about 7 after the Arce win.....now with his last loss maybe just out of the top 10....however hes still the super flyweight king :good

    thanks guys, just found it interesting

    also, just out of interest, what does a big guy (CW or HW) have to do to be high in the P4P rankings? I mean its always going to be harder for these dudes one way or another because they dont change weight classes etc etc

    Well Tyson was number 1 the year Fenech made 5..or perhaps it was 3 at one point..but the year ending he was 5, I just had a look.

    Anyway..yeah he did it. I dont pay a hell of a lot of attention to those lists anymore, to much of a popularity contest.

    P4P lists are a very hard thing to gauge and at the same time P4P a very misunderstood concept.

    ...there's no reason whatsoever why outstanding heavyweights can't be No1. Just as there's no reason whatsoever why outstanding flyweights can't be No1.

    To be a great P4P fighter you don't have to jump divisions either - example Carlos Monzon was indisputably an outstanding P4P fighter (probably an ATG P4P) but only fought as a middleweight.

    I think you guys have forgotten about the current P4P king. The great Anthony Mundine has been P4P number 1 for a good 4 or 5 yrs now taking on and embarrassing the very very best boxers on the planet. :oops:

    Pretty sure Tszyu was a firm #3 for a while (Hopkins, Floyd, Tszyu).

    Yeah, I think around 2002-2003 it was RJJ, Hopkins and Tszyu occupying the top 3 spots, when all three were undisputed champs of their respective divisions (LHW - RJJ, MW - BHop, JW - KT).

    The HOF recently nominated 10 of the best all time fighters in each division. Fenech and Darchinyan were the only Aussies to great a mention. I reckon that probably puts them at the top of the all time pile...
