When he was put away in a Spanish jail in April his lawyer claimed he would only do 4 months before release. Has anyone heard when he's likely to get out?

Watched his fight with Tony Wehbee today... What a talent he was. Silly man.

I agree, a terrible waste of opportunity. Just when he was on the verge of making some real money too.

Went to see him box Brodie at the M.E.N in Manchester. Very strong fighter, but I still maintain if Brodie stuck more to his boxing and didn't get involved he would have beaten Scott.

no chance michael would not have beat scott at any time, scott had a great habit of drawing you into a fight, when he done that your beat, brodie was a cracking fighter who was best at super bantam weight.robbed against the mexican american guy.

Bearing in mind that Scott was on the lash in the lead up to that fight, Brodie would have come nowhere near a focussed Harrison. Had Scott been more professional / avoided the demons then it would have been a total beatdown.

I met Scott pished in Glasgow about 5 weeks prior to the fight.

That is what he did to beat Brodie, he got drawn into Scott's type of fight and paid the price. I just feel if Brodie boxed and didn't get drawn in, he was the superior boxer and I feel he could have beaten Scott.
Of course, Scott did his thing and he won. No qualms about that, all credit to him.

I prefered Harrison when he stuck to his boxing. His combinations and variety was world class. I thought he neglected that on the world stage.

I'm a big Brodie fan but have to agree with Billy on this one Gaz. Brodie was always beautiful to watch but rarely did he have a fight where he wasn't tagged or wobbled or put over. He was suceptable and I think Harrison through sheer volume would always catch up with him.

All fair comments, think I'm a little against the grain on this one. Technically I feel Brodie was the better boxer. However Harrison implemented his will greater than Brodie did and he won. All there is to it really!

Scott what a great fighter. Him and Naz would of been a classic fight to get on. It would of been a the best local domestic fight for years. Harrison was a great talent I wonder if any promoter will try and get him back in the ring if he sorts out his head. As he could go back to the level he once was again. Wasted talent.

Imagine Harrison and Paul Ingle! That would have been a hell of a fight.

Unfortunately I don't think there's a realistic chance of Scott ever getting back to where he was. It seems like everytime he has something lined up he goes and does something silly again. All this time out of the ring, the alcohol, etc.. I'm afraid it's destroyed what could have been. Great shame.

It would have but again I'd go for Harrison based on his strength and will though Ingle was perhaps the 'better' fighter.

I would take Harrison in that too. Very big and strong at the weight, and someone who gave his all like Ingle did, it would take it's toll late on in the fight.
