Why did your trainer even let you compete no offence. That is dangerous, did it put you off or have you stuck with it and thought again?

cant really blame my trainer at the time he is a close friend and at the time he was pretty laid back, the club i was in at the time was small and was not serious at all, this training went on for my first 3 fights and needless to say i was 0 and 3, i actually remember my 3rd fight i drank 12 cans on the thursday night and fought sat around 8 pm, i was young and thought id be sweet come fight time, i nearly stopped the guy in the first and couldnt breathe for the rest of the fight and got battered, and to think i thought i was a man at the age of 16:patsch,now i use this experience i had to advise the younger guys in the club of what to do and not to do

this was nearly ten years ago and yeah it did put me off because i had 3 bouts and didnt return to the ring till i was 18, guess my coach thought i would be ok as i was fighting a fellow novice, im glad it happened tbh wouldnt be the person or fighter i am today had it not happened

About 18months lost first round stoppage. Our coach was the ref and put me in against someone 2-0 with 2 rscs in first round. He stopped it too early imo. But it was bull**** I was even against him. 6 months later and no more fights :(
