Juan Manuel Marquez throws excellent combo's. Mayweather used to a lot too however now he's gone up through the weights he's been a lot more defensive minded. At 130/135 he put good hurtful combo's together.

Joe louis had the sweetest, sharpest, most crisp combo's I've ever seen. Loved it.

More recently; Eric Morales put them togeather pretty ****ing nice.

    Curly serious ?

He throws nothing but straight shots ! No uppercuts or hooks. He is improving but not that much to say he throws fine combo's

Agreed, Khan should be mentioned as much as Kessler or Wlad Klitschko should be.

Combinations are about more than a 1-2, repeat* infinity.

That said, Dan, Kotelnik was never going to make the fight fun to watch, was he?

It was hardly Kotelnik's fault. He was the one outside his comfort zone, pushing the fight forward. He was simply inept at doing so.

Great Shout i forgot about Meldrick Taylor...damn them hands were blistering....against Chavez he stood and showed his metal and rattled combo's off with ease. He was an exceptional fighter such a shame that he never reached the heights his talent truly should have.

It was a combination of both fighters. Khan was sticking and moving, whilst Kotelnik stayed in his shell so he wasn't getting hit.

Kotelnik vs Maidana was a decent fight, so you can't solely place the blame on Kotelnik making the fight 'boring'.

Nope agree. but he just never throws decent combo's Khan. His upercuts and hooks leave a lot to be desired. Hopefully Roach will improve this. Problem is whilst his defense is being improved Roach seems to want him to just use his speed and do the basics

I never once called Kotelnik 'boring'. What's it with everyone trying to skew everyone else's words today? No fights on TV so people are bickering amongst each other:gayfight.

Interestingly, Roach said recently that improving defensive side of Khan was his priority and now that he's improved he is going to work on the offensive side of his game. Whether it's true or not, we'll just have to wait and see:good.
