Tough question. JMM is respected and of course loved by his fans, but he doesn't have the cult following Gatti did, and Mayweather seemed to survive alright after he handed out that beatdown.

It seems like you were just interested in bashing Floyd here.

All I was saying is that this is a lose/lose fight for floyd. The only thing he can gain from it is that IF he destroys Marquez, it will shut some people up momentarily who are screaming out that Pac would beat him. It would make a small case that Floyd IS INDEED too good for Pac at this weight and stage.

But that is not what Floyd wants, he does not want to scary PAC,
he wants PAC's attention and good %PPV for his fight with PAC.
So there will be nothing like brutal KO of JMM, it will be more like
schooling him and eventually delicate stopping on cuts.

Floyd is a professional fighter. He's going to take the win however it comes.

Yeah right!!! You forgot the Gatti fight. Gatti was adored by his fans BUT was WAYYYYYYYYYYYY too washed up and had been in too many wars already YET Fraud and his fans enjoyed it so much, as if he had beaten a Top in prime fighter. Matter of fact they claim it was one of Fraud's best fights of his career. :-(

I personally do not like Floyd.... however, I am confident that lil' Floyd will beat Marquez. Should he beat him up bad, I would not be suprised. Floyd is naturally bigger and heavier. Floyd is a "punk." He will only fight guys smaller than him.... with the exception of 1 fighter in his 39 fights.... De La Hoya. I even bet you that Floyd is hoping that Cotto and Pacman destroy each other, so he can have the "left-overs."

i think its that and also the fact that it would be a big challenge. I dont think PBF can ko him because PBF has power but not more than Pac. This fight will be about timing, conditioning, and proper execution of strategy. Marquez although a lightweight still should not be easy for PBF.

PBF Ko'd Ricky who jumped into power shots and had a horrible defense. Prior to that he ko'd Sharmba who had a bad leg and who was about 2 years past his best days. PBF was not able to hurt Baldomir who 's chin is similiar to Marquez. Since about 2002 PBF has not fought any fighter in their prime.

Marquez is not the fighter under pressure to win.
Marquez is not the one who has been inactive.
Marquez is not the fighter with brittle hands.
Marquez was not the one allegedly injured in training.

I expect a close fight in which PBF may himself be ko'd.

Man... Corrales struggled to even make that weight..... He even said he should have been in the higher weight class. Corrales was shot at weight and so was De La Hoya. Floyd knew they would both gas-out.

How did I "bash" you above? You said Floyd only fights smaller guys. I just posted that he fought Corralles, when Coralles was on top and bigger then him. You were wrong. I never bashed you. I did answer the thread, scroll up dude. :good

Whats with you? What does Floyd ALWAYS fighting smaller men have to do with this thread? A. It's not true B. It doesn't answer the thread question.
