I think boxing fans missed out on a very interesting rematch between Wlad and Sanders. I mean, the first fight Sanders won fair and square and he stopped Klitschko rather easily. However, Vitali Klitschko showed that if you survive the early rounds and take Sanders into deep waters you can drown him.

Even in Sanders fight with Vitali though, he showed he is no pushover and it took Vitali a while to break him down, in addition, I think Sanders hurt Vitali far more in the first round then Lennox Lewis did in thier entire fight.

So who would win in a Wlad vs Sanders rematch?

I personally think this is a bad stle match for Vlad but if he managed to survivr the first 3-4 rounds he would finish Sanders late.

I agree and i think was a legit knockdown vs Vitali in round one

A Sanders Waldimir rematch could be interesting i think Wladimir has still nightmares but based on Sanders last performance and his bad shape Klitschko should win.

Sanders was stronger in the first three rounds than Lewis and had Klitschkos legs buckle in round 1 and 3

Sanders really was an interesting fighter. His fast hands meant you needed a chin to beat him because he'd hit you with something powerful sooner or later.

Right now Wlad would beat him but a couple of years ago I would bet on Sanders to whoop him again. He just had the perfect style to beat Wlad, I don't think Haye will be able pull off what he did (though to be fair Wlad is much better now).

Honestly I think Sanders would beat him again. Just based on the bombs he landed on Vitali in the first round who imo is harder to catch flush than Wlad.

Sanders of 2003 would beat today's Wladimir Klitschkos, Chambers, Arreola and Haye

Corrie Sanders would knock him out again. Good handspeed and power to go along with that southpaw style, he would always be a bad matchup for Wlad.

Wlad to jab tentatively and run away behind his guard for 5 rounds

    sanders tires

wlad starts popping the jab with menace landing the occasional right

    finishes him in 7-10

I'd pick Wlad in a rematch. He's too smart a fighter not to adjust and fix what he did wrong in the first matchup, no small part of which was likely him overlooking just how dangerous Sanders could be.

I agree. Besides, then Wlad survived Peter (who was more dangerous than Sanders IMO)
