hmmm.. Pac last fought JMM at 130, JMM's natural weight.. floyd a 147 lbr will fight JMM at 144. JMM has only 2 recent fights at 135. with all the advantages of floyd (age, size & skill) definitely it will be a one sided fight.
floyds ranking upon his return... i wouldn't rank him @ 147. he's fighting a lightweight. p4p no. 3 max.
Mosley and hopkins p4p ahead of marquez??? dont be silly. Mosley fought a plasterless margarito and hopkins beat pavlik at 170. Marquez turned in a brilliant performance over Juan diaz winning the wbo wba and ibo belts
for me it depends on how he handles marquez. if he does a good job on marquez then he goes back on top of the p4p rankings. don't forget marquez is the guy who gave pac all kinds of trouble. :yep
well you make a good case except from bringing in the plasterless part. Margo didn't land a ****ing punch the whole fight and even if he did land a couple its nothing that concrete would have changed. It was a wash out. Plus, i was saying "If PBF beats JMM impressively"
Since first moving up in weight ... Mayweather has been the number #1 contender before taking a fight in a division. (by the ring magazine)
If PBF comes back anywhere near his old form than I personally don't see him getting beat by anyone from 135lbs to 147lbs! I'd wait til after the JMM fight to give a concrete decision, & if he wins impressively than I rank him #1 at both! Again I base this on the fact that I don't think no-one near his weight beats him so who else,...Pac? Anyone who puts pac #1 at WW is delusional. pac fought a gunshy, shot, dehydrated Delahoya at WW. That doesn't warrant him being #1 or top 5 IMO! If the Boxing world believes there's no-one who can beat you around your weight than why reclaim & be #1!!
