When it comes to me respecting a boxing poster, that poster has to do two things for me to respect them. First they have to care about their boxing opinion, and second, give an objective point of view about their boxer, and their favorite boxers opponent. If you do not follow these two basic thoughts, I treat you like the pathetic poster that you are because this site is a superb site that attracts posters from around the world. To read that Pavlik is a good fighter is one thing, but to say Calzaghe ducked Pavlik...to say Paul Williams is scared of PAvlik, or that Abraham never wanted to fight Pavlik insults me as a former boxer, turned fan. And one other thing. I don't give a !#$@! what any of you think about me.

Rafael got the Wright or Manfredo story from Cameron Dunkin. It was something Dunkin was looking at as a possibility if Pavlik/Williams fell threw. Manfredo would work cheap, and Pavlik has wanted to fight Winky for years. So, the story does make sense, but that does not mean they ever got as far as talking to KP about it. If they did, Pavlik Fan would know.
I really like Pavlik and think he's good for the sport. He isn't afraid of anyone and is exciting as hell to watch. But I think he's gonna have a harder time than expected on the inside. Williams can throw punches in bunches and that alone is a good defense because it has the potential to turn Kelly into fighting in spurts and counterpunching, which is the opposite of what he likes to do, e.g. initiate the action so he can set up what he wants to throw. I have Williams by decision but if I'm wrong, I'll be glad that Pavlik moves on to bigger things, if not at least an immediate rematch and millions of happy boxing fans who won't be forcefed another Gary Lockett.
