Has Haye given reasons why hes been so inactive

If Chisora hadn't of been stupid, he was going to fight Danny Williams on the Khan vs Kotelnik undercard, you know the guy that beat McDermott (btw I am not a fan of Chisora, I think he is a *****).

Haye is going for a world title in his next fight, how the **** is Fury being more ambitious by beating McDermott? Also, lets see if Fury can win a world title in 20 fights or less :deal

 

Because Fury has fought seven times in seven months and is going for a local belt in his eight fight whereas Haye has fought once in two years and pulled out of two fights.

And I am sorry, but the WBA title is meaningless at this point. Valuev lost the belt in the ring and they gave it back in the board room. Then there is the Holyfield fight...

 

To me, Wlad is the champ. Wlad just destroyed the man who beat Valuev, and Vitali's tenuous claim is based on beating a man Wlad beat years ago. Wlad is the champ, period.

A Vitalli-Valuev match would be allright, because Vitali has proven himself by beating two top ten heavies since his comback without losing more than a round. Valuev would be a third. It doesn't make Vitali the champ, but it would be entertaining to see the streak continue.

Haye has no such streak. He has not beaten a current top ten heavy, and arguably, not even a top 20. Valuev would be a good start, but he must not win the belt (not that it is a given) and start parading around calling himself the champ. It would be embarrassing for him.

 

Yeah, but Fury and Haye are at completely different stages of there careers - just because Fury is fighting more regularly does not mean that he is more ambitious.

 

So, based on your views, Mosley should be the WBO champ because he 'destroyed' Margarito, who beat Cotto, who is the current holder of the belt. Doesn't work like that mate.

 

If Haye beats Valuev impressively he's done MORE than enough to earn peoples respect back. He was a cruiserweight, and to beat a huge man is a achivement no matter how people spin it. And fact is, Valuev is probably top 5 heavyweight.

I thought Haye should have worked his way up, but if he pulls through in this fight he's a force to be reckoned with.

I unsderstand your comparison with Mosley. Hey, with four "champions" these things get complicated. But Valuev, who I actually quite like and supported in the early days, simply has no claim except for the corruption of the WBA.

Again, I feel we have come to some accord here, so I want tto re-iterate: I quite liked Haye at cruiser, and I hope he stepes up and becomes the heavy that everyone wants to see. But his inactivity, cancelling fights, and refusing to fight contenders makes me question his self confidence. This man is suppossed to be fighting in the tradition of warriors like Henry Coopers, the Frank Brunos, the Danny Williams, the Lennox Lewis.

 

Chagaev is he WBA champion, however, Valouev will knock Haye out if he wants too, it all depends on Don King.
