When a man has to talk about a man's nuts every time he wants to dis Floyd or the fan who likes him, that poster has an inferiority complex.

This is the key. Floyd became pfp the best fighter in the world in the fans eyes fighting at 130 and 135. Why does he have to fight a couple of ww's now when he did not start in that division? Floyd wants the best fighter who will give him a fight, and the fans a super fight. The ww's who fought each other are jww's who went to ww, and ww's...and Floyd became pfp the best after doing what these ww's are doing now at 147, at 130 and 135... How can anyone blame Floyd for fighting Baldy for the WBC title at that time when none of the other ww's were fighting each other yet? None of the ww's can lay claim as the best ww so I say Floyd is because he has not lost at ww, and he is the best fighter in the world.

As far as ranking? Mosley, or Cotto. Cotto has fought everyone Top Rank has put in front of him. Mosley beat the man that beat Cotto. I find it funny how you're ranking a man who hasn't fought in 2 years and has ducked the best.

You think he was really "retired?" Pshh, please.... he even said himself he never got out of shape, he stayed in tip top shape. To stay in his type of shape is hours of training..... so why would he do that unless he was making plans of coming back? Why did he all of a sudden come back after the top WW beat the crap out of eachother?

Williams isn't a welterweight anymore. Quintana has been axed out of the picture because the only win that holds water left the division. CQ has a KO loss to Cotto.

    Clottey? Who's talking about Clottey?

Floyd was the champ and he deserves a spot near the top upon his return. But #1 WW and P4P? I liken it to Vitali leaving the sport as the #1 heavyweight. Now that he beat Peter, he's back to #1? Dude retired. You can't just roll out the red carpet for him, especially since Peter wasn't even the #1 heavy at the time...Wlad was.

Let me give you a scenario and you tell me how you would judge it:

Pacquiao retires today as #1 P4P and 140 champ.

Then in his wake, 2 years later in 2011, Linares wins the undisputed 135 title and becomes P4P #1.

(Not that I think this would happen, but follow me here...)

Gamboa wins the undisputed 130 title and rises to P4P #2.

Bradley cleans house at 140 and becomes the #1 junior welter.

Pacquiao returns from his retirement to take on Gamboa, who will be moving up 2 weight classes and 10 pounds to fight Manny for the first time at 140.

Pacquiao obliterates Gamboa in 3 rounds.

DOES PACQUIAO LEAPFROG LINARES AND BECOME #1 P4P AGAIN?
IS PAC EVEN THE #1 JR. WELTER SINCE BRADLEY HAS CLEANED HOUSE?

I gave you two choices, or are you that stupid to understand? By rankings Mosley, but Cotto beat Mosley. So either one. But by NO means is Floyd the top WW. Hell even Manny is fighting Cotto before Floyd, and he's not even in the same weight class.

    Your boy floyd fails.

Williams is still a ww bruh. PAc would get my vote as the #1 best fighter, and the top ranking at 140.

Pretty obvious to tell taht youve never played a sport before. When you spend your whole life in a gym, you don't just suddenly stop. I'm sure Floyd enjoys being fit, im sure he likes working out. He probaly even did a little bit of sparring for fun.

Just as a side note none of the men you mentioned above are considered #2 P4P like JMM is..
