apparently it was degale taking liberties. started throwing elbows and butting. so the next round small came out and took him apart completley destoyed him. degale had a hissy fit and it kicked off.

 

I spoke to mike a few months back and he said he knocked him out but i suppose he wouldn't tell me if it was the other way around.

 

Ask Small how he did against El Maachi. :good

You could be right bud he was after a few pints aswell at that stage.
he said he sparred sexton aswell and his trainer pulled the plug on it as Mike was schooling him.

 

Jeff i have just posted that i think El Maachi should be top 10 in ESB rankings at light middle. get on there and get behind that.

 

i know it's only loosely related to boxing,,but i laughed for weeks afterwards!!

a friend of mine (i know it's how all these stories start!),after learning that his bands recording contract had been cancelled,went on a super-binge in the city.
he was drinking,shagging and promising the world to every "conquest"(as he calls them!.anyways,,amongst about 3 or 4 days boozing and womanising,,he was woken up in the middle of the night by two or three heavies,taken for a midnight ride,and generally got the **** kicked out of him,before being nicely returned in the morning.!
now he's not much of a boxing man,but when he returned he asked me "who is frank warren?,and does he have a daughter?".:yep

seriously all,,he knew nothing about boxing and came straight out with the "warren" question.
i did ask him if she had her dads fish eyes,he said he couldn't remember!
jonny tapia seems a together bloke...!
