Pac also has most of the abilties listed above...but he can execute it faster with power...
Pac has the ability to attack off balance because of his speed...he can regain it before his opponent can capitalize on it.

Saying that Pac is one dimensional is pathetic... the term used by clueless haters before he become a P4P king... its unbelievable that you claiming to be an expert still used that today...you have been exposed before!... many times!!

Pac did not posses his present speed and power before... you can watch his fight with Chatsai Sasakul for fly weight title...he develop it thru practice and training.
Claiming that Pac a former flyweight champion is naturally more powerfull than Cotto is idio@ic...

Bailey, Pinto and Clottey that Cotto has beaten are B+ fighters at best...
And I think Cotto has no chance to beat elite fighter like Marquez, Barrera and Morales without the weight advantage!!!

yes, you could develop your skill to run your mouth and talk for a long time... but that does not mean that you are saying something.

If Cotto wins... it will be because of his size and possibly power advantage over the smaller Paquiao.

Bottomline is, Cotto has more variations to his game than Pac. Pac has the speed which allows him to be so unorthodox in his attack.

Cotto is the better technician and has better defensive skills. Pac is just more aggressive and might have the better chin. The boxing skills Cotto displayed in the 1st half of the Margo fight, was amazing, i've never seen Pac dish out skills like that.

too bad Cotto couldn't keep it going when Margo increased the pressure.

dont give me that bull**** that if cotto wins its because size and power,, of course he will win because of that, if pac cant handle that dont move up in weight. thats cottos advantage and will be used to the fullest. thats like saying pac will win because of speed???? and yes cotto is the more technicaly sound boxer.

Pacquiao fought oscar, hatton and diaz and was barely touched by his opponent. Pacquiao can do everything cotto does faster and with more energy. Remember this, pacquiao faced a decent champion level fighter in diaz and he beat him so bad he is only just making his comeback into the sport. Its the mark of a truly great fighter that when he fights someone of normal championship level he dominates them in every facet of the game. Although cotto gomez was a quite an astonishing level of domination.

I have to say Pac on this one. I say Cotto has a good chance of winning because he does have the skills and talent to land punches, and is the heaviest, hardest hitting, opponent to face Pac. I think he will be too strong and KO the little guy. When looking at Boxing skill though, I have to say that Roach brought Pac a long way, and he has the edge here.

I agree that Pac has the edge regarding skill - but Clottey is far from a C-class standard fighter.

Ive always said that at world level there are three tiers of fighter. 1st is beltholder. 2nd is Elite fighter. 3rd is ATG. Clottey is 2nd tier. David diaz is a beltholder. Pacquiao is ATG level.

People who picked Pacquiao probably didn't understand the question. Boxing Skills: Cotto
Fighting Skills: We will find out.

You can still be a great boxer without actually being textbook. Look at Manny, he throws his head in when he throws, tends to swing wild. BUT is a great fighter.
