The prime 3 years where he fought 35 times and mopped up the division.

Ya and this a boxing website. Lewis would say that the Tyson fight was his greatest achievement.

Who did Tyson beat that was better than Vitali and Holyfield? Look how weak his resume is from 1995 - 2005. Lewis, to be frank pisses on Tyson in every department apart from the 3 prime years. 3-4 good years in a 20 year career is not that special.

Lewis did it for far longer, his average oppositon is far better.

Lewis > Tyson, any fool can see that.

Liston would have been man-handled by Lewis; Frazier would have been bounced like a basketball. Say what you will about Lennox, he was one of the very strongest hw's ever. Every opponent commented on the same thing, his size and his incredible strength. Foreman is just monumentally unskilled, sloppy with more open holes than a Sunday hooker.

Tyson's prime was from 85-90. In that period, he fought upwards of 40 times, that's a little fact that people tend to ignore. Tyson was basically in jail when Lewis came around.

Tyson's "3-4 good years" where he cleaned out the HW division, became the youngest HW champ ever, unified all 3 HW belts, and never even came close to losing, is a lot more impressive than anything Lewis ever did, imo.

Lennox Lewis is, in fact, Ali.

The man claiming to be Muhammad for years is actually an impostor.

Tyson ducked Lewis who was his mandatory in '96 though, preferring to take on Bruce Seldon, then Holyfield and dump the WBC belt

Lewis's definining fight is widely considered the Holyfield fight, but Lewis cleaned out the HW division not just Holyfield and Tyson, he beat all the best of his generation and the best of the next generation and thats his legacy

BTW I'm a massive fan of both fighters

He is an ATG simple as. #10 All-time heavyweight for me but I wouldnt argue with someone who had him in the top ten. Saying he drew with Holyfield just shows you dont know what your talking about. Saying hes outside the top 15 heavyweights is just ludicrous.

Yeah I'm not sure beating Bruno was exactly the peak of his achievements either. Coming from a proud Englishman.

Beating a 2 year inactive 39yr old Holmes is not an excellent win!
By that standard Lewis beating Tyson is an excellent win

Beating Thomas who between 87-91 lost 5/6 fights and never beat an A list fighter in his life is not an excellent win.

Berbick? Now I know you're taking this ****....

Spinks is boarderline good as I stated, excellent? Hell no.

    Try again.
