    Vitali in a shutout.

    Alternative result!

VITALI IS DSQD , FOR HITTING YOUNG WHILE HE IS OUTSIDE THE RING.

PS In a bull fight ,when a bull jumps the barrier, he is not looking for a fight, he is running from one.

Vitali in a decision. Young stays away long enough and loses on points in a boring and clear win for Vitali.

Young could of won, but I suspect he would not be prepared to make the sacrifices needed to get close enough, and risk getting hurt.

I suspect Young would of taken the easy route, lost because of inactivity, but every now again make Vitali look mighty stupid because of Jimmy's defensive work.

    Vitali WU12 (8-4)

Jimmy Young stunk............................ I'm sick of reading about this dead dude................ He beat my man Foreman in 100 degree heat in 1977........ Christ, between his loss to Ali and his win over Foreman you'd think Young was a legend on ESB Classics.......... ARGH!!!! C'mon, Vitali Klit kills this dude in a time machine.........

    Agreed.

With that being said, Young KO 1.

    *Bonus*: Sneakier Answer:

"So you think that Vitali could succeed where your man Foreman failed...?" :hey

Vitali by a late stop....Young stays defensive for a bit but Vitali's jab and right hand find there mark..The awkward style of Vitali keeps Young confused, even fight for the first 8 rds...then Vitali takes charge and hurt Jimmy several times RSC with Jimmy along the ropes and the end of the 11th

I've got "Foreman-Moorer" rolling for review....... Moorer was in a strange way similar to Jimmy Young in the ring.... Neither was huge, yet BOTH could BOX real well...... Of course from different angles, since one was a righty while the other a lefty.... I never thought either dude was very durable, however, they were savy....... But while neither dude never lived up to their full potential, Moorer got more from his career than Young ever did....... Plus, I like the fact that Moorer could punch, while Young could NOT!!

I always thought Young was slippery but stinky as well.......... Moorer was actually a good boxer / puncher with power.......... Only if Moorer was more interested in boxing and owned a solid chin, he could've been truly great.......... Jimmy Young lacked the physical attributes to be great at heavyweight.......

Well like Joey Maxim said after his tko over SRR" what do they think my corner was airconditioned" and it could be applied to Foreman/Young....

I'm not blaming the heat for Foreman's loss to Young........ Foreman was mentally all wrong for Young in 1977........... Gil Clancy said he knew trouble was brewing with Foreman when Foreman came to camp with some friendly new assistants that were to aide Foreman's training......... Clancy was not happy about that......... Clancy said Foreman was being taught tricks and dirty tactics.......... Foreman was jacking off in the Young fight down in Rico............

Had Foreman fought Young in a rematch later in 1977 here in the States, I think Foreman would've solved Young's puzzle and got to him late........ I do NOT like to blame the heat on everything, but heat usually bothers a big dude with bulk more so than a slippery boxer with savy.......... Heat is a killer....... Plus, the 70s Foreman was too intense who lacked stamina....... Young was more relaxed and had more gas for the long haul.........

Exactly as how I see it. About like the Vitali--Donald fight. 1 guy pitching and 1 guy catching. Young did everything from the waist up & it wasn't great legs that kept him away from opponents. This guy has the size to reach him from way way out on the outside and not lose balance trying to land. Jimmy will have to step in to do anything himself. He's no risk taker and will never get Klitschko off his pitchers mound.
