I hate to be cynical about Vivian Harris but

Bolanos took the butt on the chin, Harris, right in the center of his temple. There is a difference.

Wow some people actually thinks it's a fake? Has anybody here ever got hit very hard on the temple by another person hard head?

 

Yeah, the side of his chin. While Harris was hit by the side of Bolanos' chin on the upper left side of his head, the temple. They probably let him stay momentarily to talk to his family and gauge the seriousness of his injuries but he's definitely going to the hospital tonight, get an MRI etc.

 

Cabeza de Piedra...his noggin is every bit as destructive as a prime Roberto Duran's one-two punch. He'd kill a football hooligan with that headbutt.

I don't think Viv was faking it. He seemed like he was genuinely out of it when he slumped in the corner and he didn't react naturally when the ring doc started forcing his eyelids apart. That being said, I thought he would be hurt much worse.

 

Looked to me like Harris did all he could to stay on his feet. Love him or hate him, shot or not, this is a terrible way for a guy to go out. A ****ing tragedy is what it is. He's probably done.

 

I think VH's chin was more or less gone before the fight, they said he was down a couple of times vs a tomato can in his previous fight. To me it appeared that VH took the headbutt on his temple, which is a bad spot to be hit with anything. This very well may be his last fight. At this point he should be happy to say that he was a champion and hopefully managed his money wisely so he doesn't need boxing for the payday and retire.

 

he got clocked in the temple, Noe led and hit him with his forehead aka the hardest part of the skull. Vivian got hit in the temple aka the softest part of the skull aka where the veins in the head concentrate. Boxing fans are just idiots sometimes.
