Wow, that's a lot off f-bombs -- so very eloquent and well-thought-out post. And obviously it was for money, and that's fine, but don't go attaching Roy's name to your shitty resume like it means something now. He just doesn't have the balls to admit the truth now, and instead calls him a legend AFTER he beat that Shell of Jones we saw in the fight.

He said roy was a legend before and after the fight.
He knows roy was past it when they fought. Just because he promoted his fight and made out roy was better than what he was at the time does not make him some kind of ****.
You guys go nuts over nothing.
Did you want him to say roy was done and wait for nobody to turn up.?
It was an exhibition more than anything.
And anyone who knows the slightest about boxing was aware of that.
Sorry you couldnt see that. I just hope you didnt pay out to watch it.

Jones is not washed up and was not. He will beat Lacy tommorow by late knockout or decision. Calzaghe was too good. Jones just could not beat Calzaghe.

Crespo, Joe did say a year or 8 month before his fight with Roy that he wouldn't fight Roy cause ROY WAS A DONE FIGHTER IN WHICH CALZAGHE SAID THAT BEATING A DONE ROY JONES WOULDN'T DO NOTHING FOR HIS LEGACY BUT NOW 6 MONTH OR MORE LATER HE CHANGE HIS FREAKING MIND? LOL AND YOU ARE DEFENDING HIM? MAN TALK ABOUT A BIASED CALZAGHE FAN. WARREN WAS RIGHT THAT CALZAGHE BEATING PAVLIK WOULD HAVE BEEN A GREAT WAY TO RETIRED THEN BEATING A SHOT DECLINE ROY JONES.

Roy Jones is clearly washed up. Him easily beating decline Lacy tommorow won't proof a damn thing. Roy is done and has been done since he move back down to light heavyweight. Any body with a freaking brain knows that.

This was ALREADY lengtly dicussed here long time ago.

And that's why Calzaghe is getting no credit for the win against RJJ. :D

Calzaghe is one of the most talented fighter ever. Roid Jones ran from Michalczewski for years.

That's a slap in the face to...wait, I guess that's typical of Calzaghe.

I don't think he is washed up. Maybe your definition for washed up and mine are two different things. Washed up to me means a guy cannot compete in the rankings against top rated guys. If he beats Lacy he is not washed up. You mean he is diminished? Yeah most guys past 35 who are not heavyweight are diminished. Heavyweights are so slow and out of shape they can fight well up to 45.

Jones is clearly and i mean clearly washed up. Dude Jones was having a bit diificult vs freaking Hanshaw who Dirrell beat by ko. Jones couldn't even ko a shot in the dark out of shape smaller fighter Trinidad. And Jones last fight it took him 5 rounds to ko a close to 2 year layoff not the same Sheika. But that fight i thought was a bs stoppage. Man do me a favor? Watch Jones fight vs Hanshaw and Trinidad and you tell me with an honest answer ok?

another pointless calzaghe hate thread, dont you people get bored, we all saw this almost a year ago, why bring it up AGAIN, get a life. Have you ever thought he was possibly trying to big the fight up, or do you think fights are signed on the spur of the moment and not thought about before hand, jog on
