p.will is light years ahead of abraham as a boxer. he would give him a boxing lesson imo. pavlik is a way tougher match-up.

AA can box and punch. He is too strong for PW. Height and reach means nothing to AA who is one of the very few fighters that I've ever seen in the ring who does not let height and reach affect him in fights. Miranda opened crack in the door as to how to attack AA in their first fight, and that is countering AA with equally hard shots just like the ones AA dishes out. Miranda had no defense though. You have to be able to counter AA with concussive/or hard shots to head and body, and have a great defense to beat him, and as good as PW is, PW aint got either. Straight shots won't beat AA, you have to mix up your punches or have a flair for throwing proper/unproper punches. JMO...

i know it sounds cliche to say but it couldnt be more true w/ this potential matchup...it only takes one punch.

pwilly could very well be giving him a boxing lesson but unless he learns how to become impossible to find, aa will catch him at least once and when he does look out.

PW is awkward, but he does not have enough power for AA. PW's style works better fighting a guy like PAv, but that is still a dangerous fight for PW since Pav has a very underrated jab.

Think Foreman/Moorer! Paul would win every minute of every round right up until he got knocked out!

PW wouldn't even be able to hit AA clean, and AA would laugh those shots off, and then uncoil, and it would be a wrap lol... PW might get stretcherized lol...

That said, I don't think the Armenian Ape has the savvy of Big George.

just what i was thinking, but williams' chin would hold up through at least a few of AA's bombs and i don't see AA landing many power punches on paul. i think he could stay at range and just shell AA all night long without really having to take many big shots.

williams has a damn good chin. kelly's gonna have to touch it quite a few times to knock him out. he's definitely not going down before the 7-8th if he does at all. paul's never fought as big a puncher as kelly, but the guy's never even been phased by anyone up to this point. i can honestly say i have no clue whatsoever how kelly's power is going to effect him.

No, Abraham does not have Foreman's savvy. Big George fought some of the best heavyweights who ever walked the planet. However, Paul Williams drops his hands a lot. Abraham would have plenty of openings to land a big bomb. I think Abraham is a liar and a con-man, and his title reign was nothing more than a carefully crafted marketing gimmick. I'd love to pick Paul to win this, but I see PW giving Arthur "the can killer" Abraham to many openings.

    Simply put, NO.

    Not even one BIG BOMB.

    A few lesser bombs, maybe.

But AA has one-punch KO power. And if PW wants to win, he needs to avoid that power.

I don't disagree with that, especially in view of Williams lax defensive faculties.
