Lacy got a bit lucky, he throw a vicious hook when the ref went in between them clearly said break, and on top of that deducted a point from Reid for head butting:nut:patsch:yep

Indeed my friend. For whatever reason, he did not like Reid

Think it was mostly to do with Lacy's home coming that place was packed out for him. Reid was doing well up until the knock down think that and getting a point taken off him put him off a bit.

Also i laughed that the referee decided not to go through the usually show time interview but gave them a statement saying he had said break after the punch

 It definitely is lonely on here. I'm sure there were more Lacy fans back when he was champ though. Same with Cintron before Margo 2 and Cotto before Marg as well. Easy to jump off a bandwagon when the **** hits the fan

I thought so too, Reid was doing fine up until the initial knock down against Lacy. He (Reid) was actually was a decent fighter-I know he gave Calazghe run for his money, but after the Lacy fight he just went down the hill.

Reid was very good when he showed up he was already past it when the Lacy fight happened. He ran JC very close and lost to Ottke thanks to dodgy refereeing and German judges at the time. Reid got a point deduction for punching Sven in the face

As TFFP said earlier Reid 2 or 3 years before would probably have took lacy.

A Jeff lacy Express damn, this guy has done nothing since the Calzaghe fight except be gifted decisions by the judges. He probably DID win the Manfredo fight but he lost evry other fight since Calzaghe. I'm surprised anyone is bothering to board the Lacy express.
