STRIKEFORCE Carano vs Cyborg Thread. SPOILERS

That was a great fight.

 

Gina looked very tense and gassed half way through the first. It wasn't looking good for her. Good stoppage aswell.

 

Gina shoulda finished the fight early when she had the mount but she was too excited and lost it.

 

Gina got her ass kicked. Cyborg started steamrolling her from teh opening bell. Gina showed a lot of heart. She couldn't get her punches off. Should have used her leg kicks more and stayed away from trying to headlock Cyborg.

There;s like five people that cheered Cyborg's victory. At least it was a good scrap.

 

I don't watch a lot of MMA but i just saw that fight and i say fair play to them two...very good fight. I saw Carano's interview in dressing room and she was nervous she had her hands clenched i think she knew she was coming up against a beast. She should of stayed in the mount but got caught up in emotion. She thought or wanted to bang with Cyborg and she couldn't.

 

I noticed that as well. I was actually dyin' like "she's gassed in the 1st." NO way she woulda got outta this bout alive.

 

Time for her to get into porn!

 

I wonder if Gina's nose was broken? Would explain why she ran out so quickly.

 

STRIKEFORCE has "deep heavyweight talent" but can't name anyone. lol

Werdum is really the best challenge in STRIKEFORCE for Fedor.

Gina should either consider giving up fighting altogether or actually dedicating herself. She routinely comes in overweight and obviously suffers from poor conditioning. In this regard she reminds me of Shannon Briggs. Although Gina & Cyborg were fighting at a torrid pace, Gina was gassed midway through the first. Honestly, how in the hell would she have been able to complete 3 five minute rounds, let alone 5. That broad needs to prioritize. She's partying too much.

I don't necessarily think it was bad conditioning, I think the event got to her, she tensed up, and it ate her energy up, especially when Cris started mauling her. Unless Carano has a party lifestyle that I haven't heard about, which is very possible, I don't watch MMA much.

 

I thought that Carano wasnt mentally prepared...and the spotlight got to her little bit
she also probably went on the internet and read about Cyborg that she was actually a dude

 

uuuuh horrible fight. How the hell do you give up full mount twice?! Hopefully woman's mma can go back to being on the undercard.
