No Donaire only fight was a against a unexperience guy that was destroyed by a faded Arce. And not only that He strugles with him.

Too early to talk about that. This is the guy's first fight at 115.

Let's see who he fights next and who he beats . . . then we can talk about the top rating.

Nonito just had a fight at 115 against a superbatamweight and is still acclimatizing himself at the division. Maybe after 2 to 3 fights, we can decide if he's successfull enough to dislodge darch who should be calling donaire instead of going to 118 to avoid him.

I don't think he breaks the top 10 this week. Although he did overcome some adversity in his win, I don't think he put up a spectacular enough performance to bump off a fighter from the list. I do think though that he will be the first addition if someone on that list loses.

I think he stops Darchinyan again.

Vic leads in with his head before every punch he throws. Nonito can catch him with a spectacular left hook and end the fight at almost any time. Yeah, he looked bad against Concepcion, but it seemed to me that Nonito had an off night. Plus his opponent's lack of regard for the weight they were fighting at had an effect as well.

However, the Ring rankings may not change based on Donaire's recent fight.

If they both fought each other at 115, then certainly he would!

If Vic continues to fight at 115 and beat the best at that weightclass then it will be harder for Donaire to overtake him. But Vic has shown that he is beatable - that Donaire was not just a stylistic mismatch. How much more can Vic achieve? Actually, probably a fair bit.... but not as much as I can see Donaire achieving.

Anyway, I think it is time for Nonito to forget about Vic. It's a frustrating and somewhat inexplicable comparison; Vic has beaten the bigger names, Nonito has beaten Vic. Now Nonito has to go and beat other big names. He needs to separate his legacy from this comparison. Unless he fights and beats Vic himself, or if he was to take out Agbeko in convincing fashion in which case that comparison may stop.

Keep fighting, keep active, keep winning, Vic is in the rearview mirror.

Hmmnn not yet... Maybe on Donaire's next win at 115 probably against winner of Arce-Nongqayi...

Or maybe if and when Darchinyan loses to Tomas Rojas...;)

Right now, I'll ranked Donaire at no. 2 behind Darchinyan... It also gives some pressure on Darchinyan to make the Donaire rematch...;)

not yet, it was a good win, but not really the "impressive win" needed to make people think about the P4P rankings.
