Funny that you guys were much less critical of Jermain Taylor after he beat Lacy, what nine months ago? And Roy, who is 40, just put on a boxing masterclass against Lacy.

Jeff is most definitely not the fighter he used to be, but you have to give Roy some credit for being so dominant against him, especially at this stage in his career.

Also, this fight more than ever, has confirmed for me, that Roy just refuses to knock out fighters anymore. He always was reluctant to stop them, and had plenty of opportunities to take Jeff out tonight, wasn't gassed and just decided not to pull the trigger.

Roy is the man. An incredible legend in boxing. His next fight should not be against a bum like Danny Green. Bring on Chad Dawson or Bernard Hopkins.

RJJ isn't what he used to be at all, but even at 40, he's still a very relevant LHW.

Yeah, it was a good performance. Jones, like Foreman when he got older, is carefully picking his opposition, but he's doing what he needs to against them.

A prime Jones would have taken Lacy out in 2 rounds.

"A prime Jones would have taken Lacey out in 2 rounds."

Sure, but would Ali or Leonard have looked this good at 40? I know the answer :)
