    lefty -
I am with you. I read the frist 3 post and was like "really?"

I was not impressed what so ever by his performance.
He got hit to much and hurt more than one. Specially some of the body shots that guy landed.

 If you squeezed your **** any harder, it would burst open in your hand.

The sad part of it all is that I know you watch a lot of boxing, therefore you should really know better. It'd be forgivable if a 9 year old who had only seen a highlights reel or so to come to your conclusion, but I'm sure you've seen your fair share of both fighters, and I'm willing to go out on a limb and say that you're at least 12.

i'm australian and it's unlikely that green beats jones even now.
all fighters can look good offensively but its who you look good against that counts.

i think green is exactly the type of fighter jones should be fighting because green isn't a top tier fighter.

this would fight would be saturated with publicity on aussie TV leading up to it too and would draw a good crowd if it goes ahead.

As a matter of interest.....what do you call top tier?

I call top tier top 10 in the world in that division...or top 1% of pros :huh

I'm Australian, so I can't address the OP properly.

Green in his prime (Beyer, Lucas fights) was really quite good. I would have put him as a favourite with most of the active SMW at that time except JC and Kessler.

Green ruined his health fighting a guy called Sullivan. He fought while he had a virus. He dominated the whole fight, and got awarded a large UD, but it screwed him up totally - at the end of the fight he started to apologise to the fans for losing! His brain got a little bit fried and he spent a couple of days in hospital.
Since then he has been only 85% of the fighter he was, and in this sport that means you are finished. He looked a bit healthier since moving up in weight, and managed to snare the LHW title (which was great) but he still remains a fighter who never recovered and will never have a chance at being a world champ again.

Well as long as Adamek doesn't load up on steroids again like he did with Briggs then Danny would have a great chance against Adamek.

Oh, looky who decides to grace us all with their presence.

Tell me leftjab, you came into the general forum hoping to see all these threads regarding the supposed soon to be 'Green/RJJ fight' yet were a bit underwhelmed when all the threads you could see are about people wanting to see Roy fight Hopkins, Dawson, Tarver, Kessler, etc.

Adamek was never found guilty of being on roids ya dense wet yokel.
My guess is that you're just reiterating what Barry Michaels said on tv today without even having a clue yourself.

Dawson is hype, He finds it hard to land on Tarver. A man who is straight up left handed slow lanky fighter. Johnson will beat him like he did last time but like always Johnson gets robbed by the judges.
