This fight will be awesome. I really want Aldo to win this. He's sick. But I just can't see Brown losing tbh. Aldo has a chance as long as it stays standing, but even then Brown's stand-up is good enough to give everyone problems.

That's a great fight. I see Mike Brown overpowering him and wearing him out though.

You never know. Aldo is explosive and brutal. He could catch Brown early. But I'm not getting my hopes up. It will be a great fight regardless of who winss.

    I agree, you're right.

In all honesty, i'm really not sure which way this is going to go?

    Like you said, great fight.

Expect Mike Brown to be Mike Brown - fundamentally sound, rock solid, and strong as an ox. Aldo seems to have a speed advantage - but that didn't help Uriah Faber against Brown.

Perhaps but imo, Faber didn't stick to what he's good at, which is wrestling, where maybe his speed would have been beneficial. Let's be honest his striking is not nearly as good as Aldo's.

    Yeah...Brown-Faber was a great well-rounded fighter versus a very-good-to-great well-rounded fighter.

Brown-Aldo will be a great well-rounded fighter versus an insane striker.

I feel like either way I pick I am selling the other guy short; Brown has been earning his spot for years and it seems dumb to doubt him now, but Aldo has looked like a monster, speed, striking, even good submissions.

That said, I think this becomes a defining fight for Brown, and he puts on a masterpiece; I think he will build slowly through the fight, and by around the third it will look a lot like Couture vs Belfort 3, the hands and wrestling setting each other up beautifully, and finishng with the opponent a broken man.

I take Brown although hopefully he hasn't stopped his steroid use otherwise I will have to pick Aldo.

As soon as Aldo finds out he cannot blast throung Brown he will become pensive and eventually wilt. Aldo seems like a frontrunner to me. When it gets tough he will give in.

I should add that I am a huge fan of Mike Brown so my feelings on the bout are probably not entirely objective.
