Naz...beat much better competition than Hatton throughout his career imo...Lost to an ATG but wasn't so comprehensively outclassed as Hatton and was past it in the sense that he didn't have the hunger anymore.

Hamed. Better resume. More substantial accomplishments. No brutal KO's losess on his record.

Hamed, but I suppose you could argue this either way. Hamed never beat anybody with the name recognition of Kostya Tszyu. The rest of his wins are probably better as far as the decent contenders they both beat, Hamed probably beat more also.

There isn't a great deal to choose between this pair.

You can argue it either way.

Hatton has the greatest single win.

Hamed has a better stack of solid opposition.

Hamed was soundly beaten by the one great fighter he faced.

Hatton was whooped by Floyd and Pacquiao.

Both defeated their fair share of decent-ish former champions.....

The thing that swings it for me is Hamed is noticeably more skilled on film, and when he fought a legend he lost, but he won rounds and didn't get KO'd brutally.

    Again, a pretty fair call.

Though I would argue that the versions of Mayweather and Pacquiao that Hatton faced were both superior to the Barrera that Hamed faced (who was arguably slightly past his absolute best) and harder style matches too.

MAB wasn't a natural counter puncher, IMO, but I must add that he fitted into that role superbly.

When Hatton could be bothered he could really box, not on the level of Hamed of course, but in that sense he is underrated.

As good as MAB was, I think some people would argue that Floyd and Pac are higher ranked all time fighters.
