    :huh

Coming in to that fight, no one in their right minds would have bet on Calzaghe losing. It was already a foregone conclusion. Calzaghe clowning Roy done him more harm than good, anyone with a brain cell can recognise that fact.

It doesn't enhance either fighter TBH.

As to how much credit should be given to a fighter beating up an opponent he has previously called shot and washed up,I'll leave that for others to judge.

Calzaghe did it for one goddamn fight and people get all bent outta shape. Jones did this his entire career!

I had no problem with Calzaghe doing it in the first couple of rounds, but after that it got a bit much and he ended up getting caught more often than he should. I think he should have sat down on his punches a bit more frrom the 9th onwards and maybe he could have had Jones out there earlier than the 12th.

The double standard of the idiotic fans who couldn't take not only Calzaghe turning Roy over but giving him a taste of his own medicine is a giggle I'll never forget.

He showboated! So what? Big deal.

Do you realise that fighters themselves don't care about this "peak" and "prime" and "shot" nonsense?

I love Jones, but how often do you get two guys fighting each other in their "prime"? One guy is usually "not peak" or "shot", just as surely as the guy before him would obviously KO him in 1 round.

Jones looks good showboating? Please. Nobody looks good showboating. They look like arrogant dickheads no matter who's doing it.

Calling Roy Jones Jr. a fraud is dumb. He's well past his prime but in his prime Calzaghe would have be asshatted.

Calzaghe's record is a bit of joke, who did he fight in their prime that was considered a great fighter?

He jumped up to super middleweight avoiding Hopkins, Taylor, De LaHoya, Tarver, Wright just to name a few middleweights.

While he is/was a good fighter he ain't all that.

I think you'll find that the last sentence makes you 'a bit of a joke'.

    Do you see why?

Hamed vs Barrera, how stupid did Nas look getting marched over to the turnbuckle like a little girl? tried show-boating against Barrera and embarressed himself.

Its kind of ironik how calzaghe gets crucified for his showboating over a shot fighter, yet jones does the exact same and its probably ok... just sayin...

Calzaghe's moved up to avoid Hopkins. Hopkins in his prime. So he fights him 8 years later we Hopkins is well past forty. You are absolutely wrong saying they don't care. Obviously calzaghe could have pushed to fight guys in their prime, instead he hid out getting paid. Smart move it saved him from 3 to 5 losses. He can sit on the 0 losses but in his heart he knows he's a fraud.

Jones never clowned a legend that's the difference.

    You don't do that.

That's something you wouldn't know anyway.

Holmes didn't showboat Ali...he had too much respect for himself..Ali..the fans..and the sport.

    Hell..

Even Willie Wise had the CLASS not to clown Chavez.
