Man its not even close. Hatton and his 15 WBU defences and world titles against guys no one had heard of and Naz one of Britains most precocious talents ever! The richest featherweight of all times and the biggest star on both sides of the atlantic. There is no comparison.

I think Naz over all he fought better opponents than Hatton and thats what wins it for me Hatton had the big win over tyszu and maybe castillo (shot or not he is still a big name) but Naz also had the big names eg. kelly, medina and vasquez. and never got badly KO.

The argument for Hatton is basically: because he beat Kostya Tszyu. Well yeah, fair enough. But one swallow doesn't make a summer. While Hatton's resume fails off a cliff after his top 2 wins, Naz has 8-10 really solid names on his record. That's the big difference for me. Plus, as TFFP mentioned, Hamed looks awsome on film and he was a lot more dominant than Hatton over a similar peroid of time. They both established lineage, but Hamed did it much sooner and the only loss on his record is a points decision to MAB. Whereas Hatton has two brutal KO losses on his record. The inference being that Hamed could probablly just about cope at the elite level, whereas Hatton was pretty hopeless.

The point is Hamed won 4 rounds IMO, Hatton just looked hopeless, I gave him a single round in both fights, and he ended up out cold.

Which of the two rounds did you award Hatton against Pacquiao?

I gave him neither against Pacquiao, he may have sneaked a couple if you are generous against Mayweather.

I may have gave Hatton 2 of the first 4 rounds in the Mayweather fight, but thats it - and I am a Hatton fan.

I gave Hatton a share of the first five against Floyd..... the first was even, he won the 2nd close-ish, and deffo the 5th..... but he lost the 3rd and 4th by wider margins than the sessions that he won.

Naz gets my vote as well but Hattons WBU defences and the amount of money Naz earnt are almost totally irrelevant to the issue.

The Prince by quite a distance although they both ended up a laughing stock. Nas could have gone on to be a real legend but didnt have the heart.
