In all honesty, i love boxing period. Floyd has fought good fighters, not so much at WW but he does have very good wins. I dont think im an idiot for being a fan, I dont go around saying hes god like some people on this site.
That is one of the dumbest statements I've ever heard. Name one other welterweight besides Cotto that has fought the number of top level opponents over the past 5 years that Cotto has. YOU CAN'T!! You can say many things about Cotto but one thing you can't say is that he is afraid or has avoided anyone. Mayweather was the one who after the fight with Hatton, when asked about fighting Cotto replied "I'm not going to let another fighter end my career." Cotto doesn't call people out he just fights who's put in front of him. When asked about Floyd (since Cotto has moved up to 147) Cotto has said "I will fight anyone." The fact is, Floyd should not have been fighting Ricky Hatton, he should have been fighting Cotto, and everyone knows it. He chose to fight Ricky because he knew he would win.
