Flores has'nt beat anybody and a shopworn and unmotived Wilson does'nt count...He has skills but he should REALLY step it up because fans will forget him soon if he does'nt take risks in his match-making...

The first time I saw him, I thought BJ looked really good.

However, he was horrible, HORRIBLE against Ding a few fights back.

Yeah.. Or as "retired" as a boxer can be. But if the pressure of Dingaling had Flores that tight, imagine what Mormeck coulda done?

Give him some credit.. Wilson was hot at that point and he didn't give Darnell his only opportunity to win- landing that bomb. Yeah, he lost style points for making it so boring, so maybe it was a horrible performance. But he beat a top cruiser at the time.

Not hate but the truth. BJ is now 30. Fighting C level opponents like Mendoza who aren't legit cruisers doesn't help BJ's stock. It's time to step it up.

He is either fighting a totally out of shape fat HW or a SMW or LHW who is on his last legs and just trying to earn a couple bucks.

    Flores is a fraud!

He already stepped up against Wilson. I am hearing his next fight is going to be another step up against a big name in the division. So you will get your wish :thumbsup

it was a low offer because BJ was so boring & hesitant vs Wilson, and Adamek's team knew that a Jon Banks fight would be an easier sell to Showtime/ShoBox.

I'd love to see Adamek break Flores down. Perhaps it can happen, if Flores stops fighting on obscure cards (Jones PPVs), or looking boring when he gets a modicum of mainstream coverage (Wilson). Flores obviously has the personality, if he's being given commentating work. Maybe that can fast track him. If he brings a bit of life, a bit of personality, perhaps he will get opportunities.

The Ding win was good at that time, took him to the number 2 IBF ranking, problem is BJ stopped right there and is trying to live off that fight for too long already.

He should get a legit fight again and soon, then go for a world title next year. An eliminator against Godfrey would be perfect now.

Just want to note how nice the CW division is shaping up, a lot of good fighters already around and quite a few promisses coming up.

Agreed on that last part. It's a deep division where the top 30 is ultra-competetive, unlike any other.

Who's BJ's manager? I don't think they're getting him the right fights. BJ has the potential to capture a title which is why he should be fighting top ten cruisers at this point in his career, not scrubs like Mendoza.
