Right first of I'm going to start of with what versions of the fighters were talking about here , the idea here is who we think would of won a fight between Ali at his best or Tyson at his best,

So starting with Ali I'm going to pick the Ail of 1967 because that was when he just starting to enter his peak before being exiled he had amazing hand and foot speed , brilliant anticipation and reflexs , great jab and put fluild combinations together, and had good power not one punch knockout power but hurtful power , and great mental strength and confidence.

Now moving on to Tyson I'm going to pick the Tyson of 1988 because thats the year he was looking his most dominant he had like Ali amazing hand speed , anticipation and great side to side movement with his peek a boo style, his best punches was his left hook, right uppercut, he to could put great combintaions together, his power was one knockout punch power but unlike Ali mike did not have great confidence himself when things were not going his way.

    THE FIGHT:15 round fight

I see the first 3 rounds being nip and tuck with both having sucess I see Ali trying to get his jab working with a straight right every so often where as I see Tyson trying to slip Ail's jab and work on the inside but Ali tying him up when ever he gets to close and talking to Tyson by the mid rounds I see tyson catching Ali every so often but Ali tying tyson up and throwing good shots back and Tyson coming second best and by round 8 I see Ali starting to let his hands go. By round 10 I think Tyson will have started to get tired and discourged this is where Ali would take over the fight Ali was a master at breaking a fighter mentaily and physically he would start terrorising Tyson mentaily and start putting doubt in his mind he would starting letting his combinations go and by the 13th round I believe Tyson would have lost all cofidence and be taking to much punishment and see the referee stepping in to stop the fight.

let me know who u think would win and why.

deffo ali by ko in around 7 rounds tyson would get frustrated and forget to use his jab and start swinging in big shots without any thought and you cant bet any version of ali like that

Anyone who thinks Tyson would beat Ali, even an older Ali in the mid 70's, is an idiot. Tyson always had problems with taller fighters who used their jabs correctly. Ali was that and then some. Plus, if a fighter wasn't scared of Tyson, they where halfway there in terms of beating him because that was half of his allure. Tyson wasn't the type of fighter that would win in late rounds and Ali wasn't the type of fighter who would be KO'ed early or ever for that matter. Also, an older Ali beat Foreman in his prime and an older Foreman went toe to toe with Holyfield who beat Tyson twice. You do the math.

Ali takes it by late stoppage, Tyson doesn't have the stamina to keep up with Ali. Although I do expect the early rounds to be close.

Ali late stoppage, Ali would have worked out Tyson and used the jab and lateral movement to frustrate Tyson. Tyson gets more desperate and aggressive during the fight getting tired by missing and hit at will by Ali, leading to a late stoppage.

Hi Guys, Im New On Here
To those guys who said Tyson would lose the later rounds or he would run out of stamina or ali would stop him etc.....
i dont know if any of you guys know this...but Mike Tyson NEVER lost a decision...EVER, he has a 100% record when it went the distance, and he proved he could do it....with taller guys such as Quick Tillis And Tucker, yes he didnt knock them out, but he still outboxed and beat them, so give the guy some credit, all that rubbish about Mike being 1dimensional etc...he outboxed a lot of people as well.
Alis weakness was left hooks and he had a hard with a pressure fighter such as Frazier....
Tyson was faster than Frazier and not as dumb as Foreman (ala Rumble In The Jungle)
I have The ALI Book by Thomas Hauser and all of Tysons closest people say...ALI..so i pick ALi. Only Rooney said it would have been a close fight.

Ali is fitter, and would more than likely work the jab, im sayin late stoppage more than likely TKO because of Tysons Chin

    Tysons Chin Questionable?
he took ruddocks best shots and didnt go down
it took douglas a good 10-11 rounds of beating before he went down
    it took holyfield 10-rounds
    it took Lennox 8 rounds
and Danny Williams unanswered 30 odd punches.....
Not trying to be disrespectful but i dont think ali wud ever have stopped Tyson....
he never stopped Frazier in the 3 outings and Tysons chin was probably just as good

I think this fight would have gone the distance to be honest....

Why do people question Tysons stamina
post prison yes he did have a stamina problem
pre prison when did he ever gas out? apart from the douglas story
