    Roy's weak chin is a total internet myth. Tarver caught him by a picture-perfect shot, then being-KTFO-fresh, was chopped down by Johnson, I don't see no chin issues...

    If anything (and this is solely just a possible interpretation), coming down from anything legal/not so legal he used to put on then get rid of about 15-20 pounds of muscle inside 10 month for the Ruiz fight, it had the most ill effects, but still Tarver caught him by a perfect shot and Johnson took him apart...

    About the Trinidad fight was the first when Roy looked healthy and positive again, no weight issues (made 170 easily), prime Roy punch output/workrate, connect percentage, good power (multiple knockdowns), and very good handspeed. He actually threw and landed more punches on Calzaghe than Hopkins did, and threw as many as in the John Ruiz fight. Joe was simply too much.

    So no surprise he looked good vs. a faded Lacy, and even he was caught by 1 or 2 bombs, nothing really happened. This version of Roy is clearly capable of beating top dogs like Pascal, Erdei and really not that good Dawson.

    Its not a good sign that he's willing to carry on his career taking punches, i dont care how well he takes them. A lot of greats have ruined themselves for boxing on too long.

    I hope he hangs up this gloves, he's actually one of my favorite HBO commentators, i'd much prefer him to be doing that.

    anyway, jones' horrible chin is as Big Bone said: an internet myth. Is it the best? no. Is it the worst? hell no.
