Any fighter would postpone a fight when injuried, criticising them for doing so is low for any fan of this sport. This is a dangerous sport and these guys could get killed in there. Williams' injury wasn't too serious so they moved on with it, that's what they publicly stated. Not all rib injuries are the same and physique differs from one fighter to another. Ali postponed a fight because of an injury, Foreman, Tyson and many other true greats. There is nothing to criticise here. Fighting through it suffering an injury in the ring is what counts not during preparation. Preparation = preparing yourself physically and mentally 100% for future fights, going through it with a serious injury is stupid.
Pissed its postponed but at least its still happening(for now). Lord knows we dont need a million excuses about Kelly being half of his normal self.

Two quick points. #1, this has been a sh*t year for boxing compared to what it could have been. I'm not saying it's been a sh*t year overall, but it has delivered way under expectations. #2, there is no way both the Ward-Kessler and Williams-Pavlik fights occur on the same night. Goossen promotes both Ward and Williams. Think they are going to let two of their best fighters fight on the same night at opposite ends of the country, on different networks. No way. So, I guess what I'm saying is, get ready for another postponement.
