 Your right, I almost cried when Brewster knocked Wlad out. I was never so happy after a fight before. I will never forget april 7 of 04.

Yeah, Brock got killed by that hook. It looked like Wlad punched through him with that one, he followed through with the punch, forearm and all. i Will never miss a Wlad fight no matter what.

Who does Wlad beat if matched against these average and unheralded Heavyweights?

    Poll Options

    ???

    ___ Puritty (31 wins 20 losses 3 draws)

    ___ Sanders (42 wins 4 losses 0 draws)

    ___ He beats them all

___ He gets faced and crumbles like a *****

Or the thread starter could add both Puritty and Sanders to his poll and see how the numerous ESB nuthuggers reconcile reality with their active imaginations.

Undoubtedly ESB is one of the lamest groups of mediocre non-athletes ever assembled to consistently have such absurd poll results and asinine boxing opinions. There really ought to be an ESB athletic competition to weed out for ridicule some of the most moronic. It's like a group of tone deaf people wanting to provide music reviews.

The guys I picked to lose to Wlad were just too small to have much of a chance against the 245lb. 6ft.7in. Wlad. If Wlad were just a great boxer with a great jab, I might have favored some of those smaller oldtimers. But Wlad has two-fisted power. His jab is like Larry Holmes a POWER left jab and, of course, his follow up right crosses are truly devastatingly powerful. Lewis would probably beat him but no little 6foot nothing 200 pounders from the past have any chance against the athletic and well-coordinated boxer puncher giant that is Wlad Klitschko. Nostalga is great in fiction and fairy tales but in the real world a good big man always beats good little men and Steward has created a defensive genius who also possesses awesome punching power.

Out of interest, how do people see Ali beating Wlad? Outpointing him? Closing the distance and knocking him out with a single power shot? Doing a rope-a-dope and waiting for the conservative, selective punching Klit to tire out?

There seems to be a lot of indignation that people have actually picked against Ali. What makes him such a surefire winner over Wlad? Such a surefire winner as to elicit such responses as "absolute lunacy"?

He would beat Wlad, because he's simply better than Wlad.

lol some people are overrating Wladimir, he's not even an ATG or a top 10 heavyweight, yet people are picking him over Ali, Fraizer, Holmes, Louis, and Marciano, those boxers would expose Wlad's china chin.

Wlad can sit back and do his thing with his jab against todays heavyweights, but not the greats from the past.

Just like he beat Norton because he was "simply better" than him?

    Awesome logic.

Norton could possibly beat Wladimir too, but if you want to argue about logic. Ali had all the skills, speed, ring generalship, and smartness, to expose Wlad. If you honestly think Wladimir could outjab Ali, well your seriously overrating Wladimir. Wladimir wouldn't be able to dominate Ali like he's doing against todays heavyweights, who are like 3X worse than Ali.
