Jones is past his best but Dawson is hilariously overrated. Who wins?

I don't see JONES folding on later round just like he did on
    the JC fight.

    JONES by wide UD. =)

    Close fight.

Dawson's punch output is not great enough to really stifle Roy & he doesn't have the rough-house tactics which would be equally disruptive.

He IS a southpaw, though & Roy certainly don't like them.

While not a home-run hitter, Dawson is fast-ENOUGH to chip away at Roy, though & Roy doesn't have those ridiculous reflexes of old to slip these... never mind the fact that they're coming to Roy out of a southpaw stance.

    All things considered.
I tend to favour Dawson via Split-D.
Then Dawson 8-4 UD in the re-match.

Dawson should try to make it happen.
Big money & a decent enough name (even in his old age) to add to his resume.
[assuming Roy comes in playful & loose like vs. Lacy as opposed to the old man trying to knock out the Welshman but finding out that the power & explosion of old just isn't quite there)

Dawson beating Jones is like Jones beating Mike McCallum and Virgil Hill when they were past their prime.

Calzaghe? No chance in hell. Dawson would be exposed like Lacy was.

No we won't, Jones wants to move up to cruiserweight and fight Danny Green. Dawson will stay as a LHW or possibly move down to SMW.

Man while we had it, Roy Jones shuld called out Duran and make Duran come out of retirement to proof Jones is back to his oldself. :rofl Man i use to be a good supportive for Jones but now he's doing stupid **** fighting 2 easy fights after losing easily to Calzaghe. But some people are delusional for even saying Jones is back to his oldself in according to them, Jones would either beat Dawson or make a close fight.

chad will **** jones. there is a reason why jones is calling out the austrialian kid green and not chad who beat jones' daddy tarver and glen.

He aint "moving up to cruiser" really..Both guys will barely weigh over the lightheavy limit. Roy may even came in at the limit so he doesnt affect what mobility he has left.

If Roy continues he will be straight back down to lightheavy.

He probably is still the biggest draw in the division..I dont think it will happen, maybe I just dont want it to happen but I wouldnt be surprised if it was on the cards if both get through their next fights.

Exactly, LOL at moving up to cruiserweight:patsch for what?? LHW is where its at if he is trying to further cement his legacy before bowing out. I can personally see a Roy Jones-Chad Dawson bout at some point mid next year. But I'd like to see Roy and Jean Pascal go at it personally, I think that would be a beautiful match stylistically

Of course Dawson for so many reasons :
He is so much less picky than Roy has ever been.
    He is bigger and younger.
He beat Tarver twice who beat Roy twice , he had a close fight with Johnson who KO'd Roy. Calzaghe that beat Roy and had a close fight with Hopkins wants none of him , Hopkins prefers to go to 200 to fight Adamek than to stay at 175 and fight him.
Just to stat true for the record i have to mention that Roy did handle Harding much better than Dawson , but dawson was much younger and unexperienced then and also just started to accustum to 175.

I'm surprise so many are picking Jones Jr...

    IMO Dawson clearly outpoints Jones.
