That all being said and done, is it what Khoder would have wanted?? I mean it would leave him out of the picture for most of mundines next few bouts...

he is a nobody on the world stage and would have missed out regardless, his popularity/crowd pulling is nonexistant overseas.

    Interesting topic, but basically irrelevent.

Since fighting Green he has shown the boxing world exactly what he is made of.

Ran like a rabbit from Kessler, dropped a weight division in order to obtain world dominance and with the exception of Daniel Geale it has been nothing but car salesman crap that has spewed from the camp.

The thought of Mundine facing one of the big six mentioned is laughable.
These blokes pose a danger. They can actually fight.

Geale gave him the fright of his life and I'd be very surprised if a rematch ever takes place. My guess is he'd dump the belt before taking that risk again.

Anyway, why bother with name fighters when a bout with a legend such as Joy Ali,the Fijian Freak may be looming on the horizon.

MAN O MAN There are still Mundine believers out there, that's a scary thought!

Ward will surpise a lot of people. He's a class act with all the tools. I wouldn't be surprised at all if he wins this tournament.

Lucien Bute is top six as well but he did not get a look in therefore what chance would Mundine!

Taylor still has name recognition in the States and Showtime probably see the Super 6 as an opportunity to showcase up and coming talent like Ward and Dirrell for even more lucrative bouts down the track.

Seriously, Mundine would have looked at that line-up and shat his dacks!

Mate if your still around when the super 6 is completed you will see that Kessler smashes the lot and wins easy.

Mundine went well against Kessler and would give the rest of these guys a good fight....I think Mundine would win more than 50% of his fights if he was in. :yep

I have no doubt Kessler will do very ell but winning easy????? Re your Mundine presidction, we will never know! But what we do know is that Mundine will stay in Australia fighting predominantly tomato cans while morons like you will continue to fork out PPV bucks for the trash he serves up! Nice work!

I think you just got proven wrong. In the other Mundine thread Phil has confirmed Mundines next opponent, (well he has 3 Americans on a shortlist). Everything you have written in this thread has been incorrect and dripping with hatred.

Kessler will win the tourney easy...

No mate, it was a loooooong time ago that Mundine survived those 12 rounds with Kessler.

He hasn't shown us anything since or lately that would sugeest he could handle Kessler again, nor the likes of Froch, Abraham or even Taylor at this stage of his career.

Mundine's chance at the bigtime passed some time ago and you know it, which is why you're happy to see him fight nobodies for second-tier belts :yep

Really DipShitMan, don't see where I have been proven wrong and when he actually takes on his alleged American opponent then I will believe it! Face facts - this thread has been about whether Mundine would have ever got a look in on the Super 6 tournament and the answer is HIGHLY UNLIKELY. His name means zip on the world stage and he would not have had the balls to compete because he has a preference to take on easy beats in his own backyard!

No hatred for THE MAN, just calling it like it is! I actually had a huge wrap on him when he played for the Dragons but he has become quite boring and prediictable since then!

No issues with Kessler winning, I just doubt it will be easy because there are some excellent fighters in the mix!
