I voted Ali-Foreman but most options on there are valid answers.

Leonard`s performance over Hagler was legendary too, as where Frazier`s over Ali, Douglas upset over Tyson, Robinson finally stopping JLM & quite a few others.

    Ali-Foreman was A+ legendary ****.

    Ali TKO of Sonny liston.
    1) being so young and going up against the heaviest punching champ at the time, who gave a whalloping to Floyd Patterson.
    2) Being so mouthy and having to back it up
    3) Going up against the mob that was overshadowing the sport
    4) The mental warefare he brought to the pre-fight
    5) dominating the way he did
    6) speed, accuracy and footwork he displayed
    7) "I shook up the world" "Im a bad man" quotes
    8) proving all the reporters and writers and the public wrong
    9) "clay comes out to meet liston, but liston starts to retreat" Poem
    10) something in on the gloves
and a bonus * calling the champ a big ugly bear

that was about the only punch that Tyson landed in that fight. Also I don't agree that douglas was almost KO'd. He was focused and knew he had gotten caught so he chose to take the full 8 count. he was looking right at the ref and got up at 8. had the ref counted faster he would been able to get up faster with no problem.

If anything it adds to the win to be able to get off the canvass to win.

Pacquiao learned to box from a cereal box carton?, someone is still butthurt it seems.

The draw in the first fight was a mistake the female judge ADMITTED to when she scored the first round 10-7 instead of scoring it 10-6 like the rest did. We also know what happened in the rematch and I'm sure you do too.

Marquez his self admitted he's not the best till he beats Pacquiao and that came AFTER his loss in the rematch. :deal

Come on, Sugar Ray versus Lamotta was a clear winner.
They both were talented, this was not a white wash victory and we are talking about the greatest fighter to ever live. Even Ali called Robinson "The greatest boxer".

I'm very happy at the top 3 currently, but I'd like to see them in a reversed order

    Robinson
    Duran
    Ali v Foreman.

B-Hop's clinical decimation of Trinidad warrants a mention.

I agree but because of hindsight people put the victory down to trinidad being to small instead of Hopkins great ring gernelship and craft.

Tyson-Douglas i mean at this point in time people believed the only heavyweight who could have beaten Tyson was Ali, Tyson was invincible against a guy who was a journeyman he didnt just lose he got beaten up as well.

Tyson wasn't his best when Douglas beat him. He barely threw any punches, he didn't train for the fight and his personal life was a wreck. If Douglas had beaten the monster Tyson that we'd seen before then it might have been the greatest performance ever, but as it stands, Ali vs Foreman was better.

I said Ali vs Frasier I, because they were both undefeated and they were both prime it was a hell of a fight and Joe beat Ali, which he never manged to do again.

Sugar Ray Leonard TKO Tommy Hearns in their first bout.
Beautiful match, and probably Ray Leonard's best fight.
