Cotto/Pac outselling Floyd/Marquez by far!

    Reports have already came out just days after the highly anticipated Manny Pacquiao vs Miguel Cotto fight finally went on sale that the fight is already almost sold out.
    Whole entire price levels have already completely sold out. In fact it has been said that many of these seats sold out during the pre-sale for Pacquiao vs Cotto.
    Even before this fight was officially inked last Wednesday, several weeks earlier everyone from the average fight fan to the elite superstar athletes such as Derek Jeter have been contacting the right people over at Top Rank to get their hands on the hottest fight going down November 14, 2009.
    On the other hand the long awaited return fight of the last American Pound for Pound Champ, Floyd Mayweather Jr vs Juan Manuel Marquez is reportedly having trouble selling out the MGM Grand (same venue as Pacquiao vs Cotto). There is significant amounts of tickets left for Mayweather vs Marquez which is to take place in just one month from now.
    Could the reason for the drastic ticket sales difference between the two fights have much to do with the style of these pair of fighters?
    You have the two most skilled master technical defensive counter punchers fighting each other in one bout and then you have the two most exciting, explosive, offensive fighters who have been keeping the sport of boxing alive in the other bout. This may be the very reason why the latter is already almost sold out, for styles sell tickets.
    Personally I am a true fight fan who loves all great fighters and great match ups despite their styles. I have adoration for both Mayweather and Marquez to the point of me being rather inspired by them, but the general public, the casual ignorant fan may not feel the same way as the ticket sales and buzz may already indicate this.
    If Mayweather is significantly outsold by Pacquiao in tickets sales, PPV revenue numbers etc he may have very little validation and credibility to negotiate a higher purse or perhaps even an even split with Pacquiao for their potential match up if Pacquiao vs Cotto seems to be steam rolling the way it already is.
    Any true fight fan knows the out come of these two fights will have a profound impact on the future of the sport of boxing and we all know your man KING J will be there in Las Vegas just for you to make sure you feel as if you have a ringside seat.

    Jeter and fans know Cotto vs. Pac is a real fight, not a handpicked horse$hit set up exhibition with a fraud heading the bill.

    You have to be talking about ticket sales if anything, and I expect this fight to be sold out. Both fights will be sold out. Who sells tickets faster doesn't matter lol... Floyd-JMM is a true catch weight fight. What PAc asked Cotto to do was *****-come down to 145 and put his title on the line. Same old posters, same old lame, every day comments. Where did he TS get his info from...another boxing site probably lol... I don't believe what posters have to say about who is selling tickets faster.

    To say if Cotto-Pac out sells Floyd-JMM Floyd can't even ask for 50-50 is ridiculous since Floyd has out sold Pac twice against common opponents. Both will be shamed if they are greedy in negotiations. I don't think Arum will make the fight with Floyd. He wants to shite on him just like Floyd shitted on him.

    Let's hope he's watching the fight with a new ring on his finger. This is a big time fight with action written all over it. I don't see how anyone wouldn't want to watch this fight.

    We can be pretty sure FMJ-Cotto or FMJ-Pacquaio outsells Cotto-Pacquaio, so the point is mute.

    Ticket Sales and PPVs are different matters all together anyway. Cotto-Pacquaio probably will outsell FMJ-JMM, mainly because Cotto and Pacquaio are both bigger draws than Marquez

    They said PAc was on ppv's before Floyd and that he was a vestd interest over Floyd by HBO...and Floyd shitted on PAc when it came to fighting Dlh, and even did better numbers than Pac against Hatton. Why would fans even care which fights sells when you will pay to watch both fights lol... You don't think posters believe you when you say, you're going to watch Pac-Cotto and NOT Floyd-JMM...do you lol... I want both ppv's to do well.

    The TS doesn't know what is going on lol... JMM-Floyd is a better fight anyway with more skills, and two champions who have not been knocked out or quit in a fight.

    JMM is great, and Floyd is great. Two champions who have never quit or been knocked out. Floyd has never lost, and JMM thinks that he has never lost, and has a case for each fight he lost which was to some very good fighters. Cotto ran into the first guy who he couldn't back up, and lost, and Emmanuel Dapidran lost to a faded but still good Eric Morales, and before that was knocked out twice in 3 rounds. I'm going to watch both ppv's, but I know which fight is th better fight lol...
