Ortiz stops Taylor in 13. Ortiz would be far too savvy and tough for Taylor, IMO.

Ortiz stops him at some point, likely late.

I don't think Ortiz ability to break a fighter down is up there with the likes of Chavez, who hit harder, worked the body better and was a more dynamic better finnisher. I think Taylors speed gives him the decision here

If you notice Powerpuncher, i've more or less agreed with you on nearly every fight we have come together on in debate. This is where we part ways my friend.

I think Ortiz was actually a better finisher than Chavez. I also think he hit just about as hard, and his economical attack to the head and body was at least as impressive. Where Ortiz holds the advantage is in his out-boxing ability. He had great timing, a higher workrate with a better jab, and an excellent right cross that if connected would've given any fighter something to think about it. I'd say his right cross was more damaging than Chavez's right hand lead. I agree with Red Cobra, only this time I don't see Taylor holding a substantial lead on the cards at the time of the stoppage.

Well i was waiting for a reply to my post so i could point out Ortiz was a better boxer, but thanks for stealing my thunder you ****. (kidding). I do think though, that if Taylor did have a lead by the time he gets stopped, that it wouldn't be as wide as the one he enjoyed (on any commendable scorecard) against Chavez.

I don't even think it's totally out of the question that Ortiz wins a decision to be honest.

Agee with this. Ortiz would not get so far behind on points. Ortiz definitely hit hard enough to break Taylor down.
