Im not surprised Pac-Cotto is a superfight and Mayweather-JMM is not.

Pac-Cotto will do at least 4X as many PPV buys as PBF-JMM.

He beat Baldomir one of the weakest champions in the history of the sport and he needed his track shoes to beat him.

titles dont mean **** whats important is quality of opposition and in the two divisions where both Cotto and fraud have fought,Cotto has clearly faced the better comp.

 Floyd vs JMM will do 500,000. Pac vs Cotto will do 700,000.

If Pac/Floyd happens a 50/50 split is a must, no one can justify Floyd asking for more than that. And as it seems right now, a 50/50 is being generous to Floyd.

Two action fighters vs. Two Counterpunchers.

    Wow.

    Who could have guessed this?

But Arum wouldnt let Cotto get in the ring with Floyd.

    Spin it how you want.

So because Pac might sell more in 1 fight, that takes away from the fact that Floyd has consistently outsold Pac throughout his career. Wow.

OK. Personally, I dont think Mayweayther will be affected by the lay-off, and he has said himself that it will not be an issue as he has been in the gym regularly. However, I can see the argument for a bit of ring rust.

It doesnt matter where Marquez ranks p4p. He is a small lightweight that is being forced to fight at welterweight against a natural welterweight. Pac-Marquez fight are irrelevant in this debate as they were both at 130lbs and Pacquiao is now a significantly different fighter

The fights at 144 and Floyd fought the vast majority of his career below 140. Floyd is not a welterweight like Cotto, Mosley and Margarito are welterweights. Hell I heard that Marquez came into the Diaz fight at 142.

Natural welterweight? Cmon now. He looked like a midget against DLH, who is the prototype of the modern welterweight.

Floyd is a natural 140 pounder at most.

And considering Manny can't make 135 anymore, that puts him in the ring as a 140 pounder to.

Doesn't matter if pac didn't sold out a fight in my backyard in the past, as itstands right NOW, he is a bigger draw than Floyd.

    Don't live in the past.
