I notice, with the exception Pavlik is Champ no other Pavlik nutthugger is around to defend there man... after all the threads they made and **** they talked. Now they run like cowards...

I talked to Paul a month or so back at the IBHOF and he said they gave in to every demand to get the Pavlik fight but they were getting tired of it and were talking to HBO about Dzindzurik.

Not only that, but money is the last of his concern. In his own words, "We southern boys know how to save, I could live the rest of my days without another penny."

 

Ok, let's get this straight. Pavlik is not "avoiding" Williams. If he didn't want to fight him, he could very easily have picked out one of the four chumps HBO was recommending. Instead, he ASKED to fight Paul Williams, and negotiations began on that precedent. When the promoters couldn't agree to a deal and Goosen was making pretty sizeable (and probably unfair) demands, Pavlik told Dunkin to make the fight happen, even if it meant taking a lesser cut. Does that sound like the action of someone who doesn't want to get in the ring with PW?

If this missing appointments craic is true, then that's obviously stupid and irresponsible on Pavlik's part, and only heightens speculations that he hasn't had his head in the game since the loss to B-Hop. But it's doubtless nothing more than stupidity. This fight will come off. :bbb

Peterson told me that he had to pull Paul off of Winky because he knew that in the back of his mind if they stopped Winky they would never get anybody to get in the ring with them.

He was one cool dude. They both were actually.

Paul was sweating his balls off while he was the speaker at one of the events and he said he felt like he was on trial. Everbody in the place lost it.
