I don't think Jeff was implying Calzaghe was not talented, just pointing out if people regard him a being a great, it's more to do with good fortune rather than just his talent.
I admit it is very hard to sift through your mountains of bull**** to get to your ill conceived thoughts towards a fighter I have mixed feelings about. The only reason I post in his favour is because you are ridiculously over the top, to me he is no where near the top 10 or maybe even top 50 fighters ever but if I was going to make a top 100 there is no way I could leave him off. The fact is, he beat 2 ATG's, held multiple world championships and never lost. There are lot's of if's and but's in there BUT they are just that, history will remember Joe a lot more favourably than we do now and for good reason. He was quite simply an all time great who through himself and people not wanting to fight him, never became what he could have been, and that is one of the absolute legends of this sport. A legend; no, an ATG; it's undeniable whether you like him or not.
B-Hop and RJJ que the excuses I don't care about Jeff, he beat them on there soil by point decisions and he beat them after getting knocked down, shot or not he won. He beat a competitive Hopkin's with broken hands, the RJJ fight I don't see as important and mostly makes me angry that the fight didn't take place 10 years ago but I blame both men for this not just JC (really makes me sore this point, really, really wanted to see this fight in the early 00's). PS. I amend my comment of undeniably an ATG too, "anyone who can look at this with a level head can not come to any other conclusion then him being an ATG".
