I think Greb's win over Tunney should be on their. My vote would be a tie between that one, Duran over Leonard, and the Rumble in the Jungle.

I think that Whitaker D12 (official) Chavez, Hopkins W 12 Pavlik and Jones W12 Toney should be on the list.
Whitaker and Chavez were the two best boxers in the world it was expected to be a mostly even match up of Chavez's presure and Whitaker's speed. Instead Whitaker domanted the fight.
When Hopkins and Pavlik meet pretty much everyone thought the younger more active Pavlik would over whelm Hopkins. It is not just that Hopkins won it was the way he won. Hopkins in the recent past had at times crused in fights just doing enough to pull out the win. Against Pavlik he didn't cruse he boxed to win every round and pretty much did just that.
When Jones and Toney meet Toney seemed to be next in line for Pound for Pound #1 status. Jones was not far behind himself. Like Chavez vs. Whitaker this was suposed to be a compitive fight like Chavez vs. Whitaker it was not close.

kissing the canvass 3 times and covering your face and giving up is not a "greatest performance" IMO. especially if your fellow latino ref counted you too long and gave you a chance to survive :yep:yep sorry, you are butthurt

This "victory" is way overrated.Leonard spent at least 5 years talking about the possibility of challenging Hagler, but never did because he was waiting for Marvin to grow old and shot, which is what happened. He kept tittillating Marvin and the public by openly courting the fight and would back away.Leonard conned many people that night, not just Marvin.

    **** this is tough!

from the choices i'll have to pick 3. based on PERFORMANCE alone (not how awesome the victory was but the fighters abilities):

    1)Pep vs Saddler
    2)Robinson vs LaMotta
3)Tie: Frazier vs Ali, Duran vs Leonard (**** all of you i actually picked four...)
