I keep hearing this, and I also read an ESB article today that described Cotto as "a big welterweight".

Personally, I don't agree at all. What does ESB think about this? :think

He normally comes in @ 160 come fight time and w/ his physique, I think he is a big WW.

I personally don't find him big at all. He is "built" but eh, compared to others he looks like a little boy xD

    **** you!!!

All jokes aside Neck, even though I'm a Cotto nuthugger I do respect the fact that you at least admit you hate the guy and don't deny it like alot of Cotto haters do.

But deep down I know you respect him as a fighter.:yep

He's also a big and tall WW. I'm not saying Cotto is bigger. I'm just saying Cotto is a big WW, especially when he fights in @ approx. 160.

He's not huge. I would say he's big though. Margo being huge for the division.

If you make the weight oh well.

Compared to most welterweights, I'd say Cotto is average. I don't think "bigger" equals "heavier". Margo and Cotto weighed almost the same in their fight, but Margo dwarfed Cotto in the ring. I'd label fighters like Margarito, Cintron and P-Willy as big welterweights, not Cotto.

If Margo is huge. Williams is a monstrosity (he is). But if you can make the weight without being drained then I guess it's ok.
