AA was fighting with Broken Jaw end of the Fight. AA showed what real warrior is all about in that fight. And he still was not out boxed dumb ass..

I would not be surprized to se Kessler in the final, but Abraham is going to struggle more to get there! Due to his size he is probably gonna have to go for a KO to win against some of them, or he will get outpointed.. on the other hand i dont se any of them stopping him! but thats the only reason if he wouldn`t make it to the final imo!

I would be extremely surprised if Abraham makes it to the final. Unless he develops into more of a pressure fighter, I can't see an opportunity for him to utilize his power against the likes of Ward and Dirrell, who will box rings around him.

Agreed but Ward showed a few stamina issues in his fight with Miranda I think and dit a lot of clinching. There he is right in Abraham's zone.

Dirrell seems to admire his work a bit and get a bit involved at time, again, big mistake against Abraham.

Certainly bad style match-ups for Abraham but someone of his power and confidence can never be counted out. I also think his workrate is poor due to him being weight-drained.

I give Abraham 0% chance of making the final. I actually consider him the outsider for this tournament.

    i agree.

i think sauerland eagerly wanted taylor, as the 1 opponent for AA, with the thought he mentally wouldnt be 100%.

based on styles and the size of his opponents, the only one i give him a shot at beating, is actually taylor. BUT personally i see taylor winning. He just needs to add a little holding a la hatton to his repetoire, and take a deep breath, then taylor should be fine against AA.

the only thing that bothers me, was the way lacy was able to close the distance against taylor, if AA is allowed the same easy way in, then i see taylor getting ko´ed.

Reading the thread one can get the feeling the Pavlik fans try to talk Abraham down...

I think it will be a hard task for Abraham to reach the final, and an even bigger task to beat Kessler if that one is still prime physically. Kessler is probably too big and straightforward textbook boxer puncher for Abraham to go by his usual gameplan. If he somehow could break down Kessler, he can win, but at this time I don't see how that would happen. Abraham may simply be too short for SMW and above even when he has the total body size / weight for that class. His missing reach will be a bigger problem the higher he gets.

The Pavlik nuthugger and promotion team is not even worth an answer. Expect new lies by the hour.

As a big fan of Kessler I dont fear Abraham, Froch and Direll, but Taylor and Ward maybe.

Imagine whoever wins the tournament then has to fight Bute and therefore become the Ring Champ. It isn't really fair that Bute gets the fast-track past the best in the division unlike his opponent. I doubt Bute will still be #2 by then anyway, based on the other fighters that are also taking part in the super six, i imagine it will be whoever else makes the final.

For me, Kessler is a sure thing in the finals but for AA, will have to wait and see how he handles Jermaine Taylor before predicting anything...And as for a showdown between the wo Sauerland stablemates, Kessler large UD.

More or less non-moving targets like Abraham and Froch is water on Kessler's mill due to Kessler's reach and hand-speed. Kessler should be able to land fairly safe point wins against both. It's a different story for Kessler against Dirrell and Ward. I see Kessler chasing Ward and Dirrell the entire fight. I believe stamina+discipline and whether Kessler is able to cut off the ring properly will decide the outcome of these two fights.

I have no issues with Ward's stamina. I'm fairly certain he was clinching to smother any potential comeback by Miranda.
