Pac still has to accomplish this it seems. Cotto isn't exactly prime now, but he may beat Pac into a bloody mess anyways. That doesn't bode well for Pac's resume.

:? Can you specify who exactly is a 'top fighter in their prime' right now, so we can see how high a bar you're setting here...

The same could be said to all active fighters now. Who has JMM beaten in their prime??? Juan Diaz was previously defeated by Campbell, Casa is way past it, stryggled against John, etc.

Hoya lost almost all his meaningful fights, except if you still consider JCCas prime.

Mayweather's resume is not exactly full of top caliber fighters unless you see diego as multi-dimensional. How many of Mayweathers opponent are sho-in HOFers.

It is easy to criticize fighters but the fact is you seldom have two top notch fighters belonging to the same prime period. Even during SRL, Duran, Hearns, Hagler period where they coexisted. Not all of them were exactly in their primes when they met each other. That is why there is changing of the guards, because once a top fighter becomes past his prime, the young ones then becomes prime.

How many fighters would you say that Pac should have fought that are in their primes, and he is in his prime as well. You have to remneber that the Pac that EM fought may not even be in his prime as he was just 26 years old, or that the Pac who MAB faced the first time is not even prime at 23. Or was Pac prime already when he met JMM in 2004 at 24 years old?

Lol jeff m please do ur self a favor and stop this bull**** thread u are making cause ur just embarassing ur self.

Barrera was a prime top 3 p4p fighter when pac demolished him. Jmm is on his best self when pac beat him in their second fight. yeah it was close and it could have gone either way but it is no way in hell u can call that a robbery. Hatton is also undefeated in 140 when pac demolished him in 2 rounds. I dont know if u know sasakul. he may be not a p4p top 10 but im sure he is a world class boxer and the top guy in his division. pac beat him by a brutal k.o.

Jeff before u bash someone's resume, try to look in ur god's resume first. Valero have'nt beat any top class fighter. Lol dont say mosquera pls.

WOW. Valero far more advanced than pac in 25 fights??? did you mean accomplishments, skills, progression?? cause valero hasn't done **** in 25 fights in terms of the 3 things I stated above. 2 legitimate world titles?? against who?? pac at least has beaten a TRUE champion in sasakul?? in 25 fights valero has done absolutely nothing

Barrera-already 60 fights when Pac fought him.
JMM- Pac never beat him, especially convincingly
    Sasakul-that's a joke right? Look at Sasakul's record!

Why do people say Hatton is past his prime? Because he has been performing poorer? He has stepped up his competition.

I don't think Barrera was past his prime the first time Pac beat him either.

JMM wasn't past his prime in either fights either, although I think JMM won both.
