Oh ok i believe he's top 20 heavyweight ATG....I thought u were talking about ATG like for all weight classes...if u had him in the top 20 there that's pretty bad.

 

Clearly he is in the top 20. People, who constantly mention and badger his loss to Purity are idiots. That was eons ago, just like for example, Manny Pacquaoi loss to Torrecampo and Singsurat in the late 90's. Would anybody state that Pacquiao is less of fighter now or that he would again lose to Torre and Sing? No. Just like I would also think Haye would probably demolish Thompson in a rematch, because of experience & growth. As Nazim Richards said, for a guy who has nearly 60 wins and 3 loses with a less than sturdy chin is pretty dam amazing.

Rahman lost some big fights, but guess what *******, he never lost to Cliff Ettiene and Charles Shufford. Brewster has never been in with the calibre of fighters that Rahman has, plain and simple. fair enough. forgot about the golota destruction. i suppose an argument can be made for brewster. the thing is i don't even downgrade wlad for the brewster loss that much because although i'm not a big wlad fan and i actually won some money betting on brewster (i bet just b/c of the huge odds and some suspicious movement in the line if i remember right) i'll never be convinced that brewster had all that much to do with that win. he did very little offensively until wlad was ready to fall over for whatever reason. i think that fight is much more of a 'fluke' then lewis' losses to mccall and rahman.

 

If he continues to beat #1 contenders for his belts then i clearly see him ranking up in my top 20 as well.

him and his brother just keep beating younger up and comer opponents, reminds me of Larry Holmes.

 

That same Golota got blitzed by Ray Austin in the same way. He's been stopped in two rounds or less 4 times. That's no huge accomplishment. As a matter of fact, Golota has never won a big fight ........ever! He made his bones by beating up and quitting against a brain damaged Bowe. He lost to everyone else!

As for Brewster, he only has one win against a good fighter, and that's Vlad. He did jack **** in that fight, and was getting beaten down until the Klit folded up on his own.

 

all time? i have him just coming in at the bottom (round 15-20). Length of reign, number of defense, dominance and knockout ratio put him in a good position. fighters lose. fighters even lose in their prime. what matters is how they come back and wlad has done so with great effect.

 

I call bull****. He ko'd Al Cole 3 months before this fight, and weighed the same as he did when he fought Vlad. 3 pounds less than he did against Cole aswell.

he's shown character and heart at a time when EVERYONE outside of his family and a handful of faithfuls completely counted him out and rebounded to dominate and destroy the post lewis crop

 

He's a ****ing monster head to head and is dominating his era in his prime. That counts for a hell of a lot. Definitely top 20.

 

yes golota got blitzed by austin, but he also majorly ****ed up his arm and could barely defend himself after the very initial onslaught. i think golota could've weathered that storm if not injured but who knows. i wasn't saying the golota win was too great just that it was a good win as golota was a solid hw at that point (soon after arguably beating fellow b level guys ruiz and byrd). my point was also that thinking about rahman and mccall's records they don't have too many wins all that much better (other than lewis obviouisly) than brewster's. brewester beat b level guys like golota, krasniqui and meehan. rahman's got who? sanders monte barrett controv loss to tua etc (it aint all that much different). but i'd give the nod to rahman and mccall for having done a little more but who knows.
