the difference in size between Floyd and Marquez is smaller between Floyd and Mosley. Marquez is a very good technical fighter. Floyd has been on layoff for 2 years. Fighting an expereicend fighter like Marquez would be a far better test in terms of timing and getting back into ring shape then fighting almost anyone else.

So you're implying that this is really a tuneup fight for Floyd after almost 2 years in retirement?? ;)

You did discuss "smaller" but how about the "older" and "Floyd has all the advantages"??

Pacquiao was younger then Marquez by almost a decade and still got his ass kicked. What does age have to do anything? Mayweather is 32, Marquez is 36. Both could be considered past their prime.

Only Pacterons keep on stating that JMM beats Manny.

I never imagine Floyd is one of them......

Ok "smaller" and "older" got ticked... Is this a tuneup fight for Floyd?? He has almost all the advantages in this fight... Can you name one advantage of JMM except more active and having more fights??

There is not a fighter alive from 140-154 who has any advantages over Mayweather. Marquez is no different.

The size difference is not that big. Floyd was fighting at Marquez weight class a few years ago. Mayweather comes into fights 147. Marquez came into the fight at 142 against Diaz. Marquez will put on just a little bulk. Overall not much difference, you can see it when they stand next to eachother. And the age difference will be mute. Marquez is probably better now then he was 5 years ago.

Again read the bottom paragraph carefully. I know you *******s struggle with logic.

Why can't you answer the simple question if this is a tuneup fight for Floyd?? ;)

You can justify the size and age difference whatever way you want but fact remains that Floyd is BIGGER and YOUNGER than JMM...

No fighter at 140-154 has any advantages over Floyd... What?? That's total bullcrap just like what comes out from Floyd's mouth... How about Paul Williams is taller and has longer reach than Floyd... How about Cotto and PAC is younger than Floyd...

Its a tuneup in the sense that it will give Floyd a good barometer of his skills. In terms does Floyd have a chance of losing, its not a tuneup fight. Marquez is so good technically that if Floyd is off his game I can see him losing a decision. IF he is on his game, Floyd should win.

For instance this is a tougher fight for Floyd then Pac fighting a paper champ in David Diaz.

The size difference is inconsequential. Paul Williams is bigger and younger then Floyd. I would not consider that a mismatch. Hell Floyd is closer in age and size to Marquez then Paul williams is to Floyd. Ditto Mosley.

I was referring to boxing ability. Floyd is 10 times the boxer as all those boxers combined for instance. Thus, Floyd has the advantage.

Danny_Rand: "There is not a fighter alive from 140-154 who has any advantages over Mayweather"

LOL  then change it to...

Danny_Rand: "There is not a fighter alive from 140-154 who has any advantages over Mayweather in terms of boxing ability"

Are you not referring to "running ability"??
