So getting 500K revenue is because of floyd? I thought they move it to sept19, a week after Mexican Independence Day, to gather mexican supporters...Those mexicans are there for JMM, not floyd...

Not moving the fight to sept19, this would have been a flop, and the only way to save it is through the help of JMM's people...getting 80% is a total disrespect to JMM..

Isn't it demanding $15M for a tuneup fight is a bit greedy?? Getting 80% of the purse split is a bit greedy??

I doubt this tuneup/mismatch/expected boring fight will do good money... It's reported that it's not selling well...

The PPV buys will be to see Floyd. Marquez will do well among Mexicans, but the majority will watch to see Floyd, either lose or win.

    Mayweather was hurt during training.

80% is not disrespect to Marquez. This will be the most money he's ever made. Probably triple his highest purse. It was a godsend to Marquez that Floyd accepted this fight. Is Marquez complaining about the purse no.

If Pac was a bit smarter and better business man, he would see similar wages.

The largest buys Marquez ever got was about 400,000 against Pac. Floyd has done 2.4 million with Oscar, and 900,000 with Hatton. You do the math.

Hear say from *******s and Floyd haters. Nothing more. tHe Hatton Pac fight didnt sell out until the week of the fight. Gate means nothing.

We will see on Sept. 19, how well that fight doing... I dunno bud but I didn't hear any significant buzz for this tuneup/mismatch/expected boring fight...;)

If we will let the peeps here to vote if Floyd's $15M purse is somewhat greedy, I think peeps here will agree/vote on that...;)

Floyd been in many boring fights... Remember Tiger Woods and other spectators walked out from his fight with Baldomir before it was over...

JMM been in many boring fights...

Clearly, you can expect a boring fight with these 2 master counterpunchers who might wait on each other on who will throw a punch first... It could turn out as an exciting fight but the probability for it to happen is very small...

Floyd potshotting JMM with his 5" reach advantage and much superior speed to a boring UD victory is most probably what will happen...

Floyd hurt his hand in that fight. Please besides the Baldomir fight, name the "many" boring fights Mayweather has been in.

Now I know the fact that you cant name 10 boxers off the top of your head you are going to struggle, but atleast try.

I see Floyd walking JMM down, JMM trying to outhustle Floyd, with Floyd getting the best of the exchanges. From a tactical point of view, it will be a boxing purists dream. FOr an ignorant peasant like you who doesnt know much about the sport, it might be boring. But boxing doesnt need to cater to your crowd anyway.

Exactly. Floyd has over 39 fights. And you name 2. Here I'll help you out. Type in Demarcus Corley, Jose Castillo, Diego Corrales, Jesus Chavez vs Mayweather in youtube.

What are you laughing at clown. Im trying to help you out here. Floyd walked down Corley, Judah, Sharamba Mitchell. Why couldnt he walk down JMM?

Yep. And your ilk giggles watching bum fights on youtube. See the difference?
