Mayweather: "I'm Fighting Juan Because He Beat Manny"

The problem is that Marquez hasn't really looked great since he beat Pacquiao; he's made himself more of a puncher, but he's been much less elusive and hasn't outboxed people the way he used to. He went life and death with Juan Diaz for an extended period, and couldn't deal very well with a dominant but inevitable past prime Casamayor. On the other hand Pacquiao has - admittedly against dubious opponents - looked sensational.

Perhaps more importantly, Pacquiao has looked comfortable with the extra weight he's put on, and is faster and stronger than ever. Marquez looked slower than before agaisnt Diaz, both in terms of hand-speed and movement. Now, I think JMM beat Pacquaio both times; but that doesn't mean he can match him up the weight. JMM is vulnerable, and Floyd knows it.
