Bloody hell. As you say, it's becoming extremely regular as well:think. Imagine if he goes under- I can't think whether it would actually be a good or bad for British boxing, TBH.

I very much doubt he'll go under - he'll just change company name again

It would be great for British boxing. No more WBU and WBO titles.

Frank Warren rightfully recieves a lot of stick for some of the fights he bills as "World Title fights". However, credit given where credit is due, it seems to be a while since we've had any WBU title fights...

In fairness, he hasn't marketed a WBU 'title fight' recently. You are correct in the sense that he (pathetically) added credence to yet more shiny straps. That said, you're gonna have to accpet that the WBO is, unfortunately, here to stay:-(.

Anyway, back to my point- I am split on it. Yeah, we won't see any more padded Warren-stable records but eliminating Fwank doesn't mean that this will be eliminated completely. He has brought countless fighters into the world stage and you can't deny that (although many don't like it) he has become a staple of British boxing.

Think about it for a second, as much as I like Hennessey bills, do you think a Warren fighter would have fought for a title and not be on British TV? Let's face it, he is't here to satisfy us all but he is incredibly good at his job- and that is to promote.

I feel bad writing all that as it makes it sound like I am pro-Warren but you have to look at these things from both sides of the coin:think.

Get rid of Warren and somebody will just end up doing the same thing. "Power abhors a vacuum" and all that....

I may be missing something here, but Warren's involvement in this fight was as Sports Network.
Therefore the debt is due from Sports Network - already in liquidation after the Calzaghe affair and making offers of 10p in the pound.
You've gotta luv him - always a furlong in front.

Yes he will & its ****ing bollocks that in this country, you are allowed to do such a thing & by doing so it tunrns out in your favour!

Calzaghe is suing allegedly on a personal level now because Warren changed his company name, thus trying to get out of paying what he's meant to pay Calzaghe from the hearing at the High Court in London!

I hope Tyson gets his money, one way or another!
