i must admit, that when you hear b-hop talk you think he's gonna serve up a bad ass beat down on all who are stupid enough to enter the ring with him, like the mean muvva he portrays, but more often than not he's cagey in the ring, especially when things aren't going his way. the charachter he portrays is the worst part about the guy, because it's a bit false IMHO.
He beat Glen Johnson, when he was 32-0. Not only did he beat him, he stopped him. Echols, Holmes and Joppy were far better then the likes of Mario Veit, Tocker Pudwill and Rick Thornberry, and the host of club fighters Joe Calzaghe packed on his woeful record over the years.
Going from the fighters i know on his resume im sure a better poster than me has another few too add but anyway: John David Jackson Glen Johnson Simon Brown Antwun Echols Keith Holmes Tito Joppy Daniels Oscar Eastman Taylor x2 in close fights
Calslap slapped Bhop on his nuts. The replay showed it was right on his cup. And how do you fight negatively. Against a guy who throws 1,000 amatuerish slaps, the best gameplan is to respond with counter punches. One of which put ya boy on his ass.
Echols, Holmes and Joppy weren`t better than Lacy Kessler,Hopkins,Jones,Brewer and Joe Calzaghe didn`t have FIVE losses and a draw on his flawless record!! :hi:
hop feigned 3 low blows during the fight. it was pathetic. like i said acts tough but then pulls that ****. please.
I was comparing Hopkins middleweight career to Calzaghe's super middleweight career. And they are better then Lacy and Brewer. Pavlik and Tarver is better then a shot Jones, and Kessler easily. Hopkins beat 4-5 Hofers in their prime. The only game Hofer that Calslap has on his resume is Hopkins. And Hopkins was 43 years old. Jones and Eubank were way past it. But both funnily enough put Calslap on his ass. We can probably add Adamek to that list in a month or so. Hopkins just had way more balls in his career then slaps. As to why he's seen as the better fighter.
